So Ian Blackford the SNP mouthpiece at Westminster has now been outed as the hypocrite over the Patrick Grady affair, whilst telling the victim “ we will have zero tolerance” to sexual harassment… then rallying the “Silly Numpty Party” to “rally round the perpetrator” … oh Karma is a Killer…not just him but another one “Callaghan” the female East Dumbartonshire one who is now also trying to backtrack as being “misunderstood” …. translates as “caught out” …. the only good thing about all of this is the party who are the least transparent… and prone to hiding their incompetence on a grand scale…. are visibly upset… anyone who tried to defend them is as my mum would say “ fly with the crows… you’ll be shot with the crows”

Doncaster voted by 68.94% to leave the EU - can't see that they would be looking to come under Scottish rule ?

I'm with this! Could we trade? Boris and the Tories for the SNP?

Oh dear, Berwick will be disappointed! I believe they were hoping to move the Scottish border back south of their town where it was before Edward I seized Berwick.

And was it Doncaster that discovered around the time of Brexit that they had been ceded to the Scots some time in the past, so they were considering asking to rejoin Scotland if and when Scottish Independence results in Scotland re-joining the EU?

I must say I was disappointed to read that Ian Blackford and Amy Callaghan had made foolish mistakes. I thought Ian was a good spokesman for the opposition in Parliament and we sure need people who can speak out and make sense. .
I wish we weren't having another Independence referendum so soon. It brings out the worst in people.

As to Amy Callaghan now I know what she "did" .In a PRIVATE conversation she apparently supported Patrick Grady who has been reported for sexual a offence.
Now I think if you believe stroking someones hair and touching their back IS a sexual offence then Amy and Ian were wrong to support him .However he desisted from the behaviour as soon as he was asked ,and the "victim" affirmed that he did .Isn't it what happens in pubs with folk who have drunk too much all the time.?
The "victim" went on to accuse another SNP MP a female one of a similar offence.....the case was dropped.Make of that what you will.
Strange that there weren't the same amount of column inches about the latest TORY who is on a RAPE charge or the one just jailed for sexual assualt or even the list of over 100 sex offenders LOST by Teresa May .that'll be the ones still voting for Boris ....he can use the info as blackmail ....or maybe he was one of them? Given HIS record with women who would be surprised !

No wonder many in Scotland want independence. Good luck to them.

maddyone Fri 01-Jul-22 14:46:02

Who the Scots vote for is up to them. The same as all the rest of us can vote for whoever we choose to vote for. I hope they get their independence referendum in 2023 and hopefully the matter can be settled one way or the other then.

Oh, I always say I'll not get involved...

Nearly 50% of the Scots electorate vote for the SNP. Anyone calling them the "silly numpty party" needs to remember that they are talking about a party supported by nearly 50% of the population. What does that say about the nearly 50%?

Engage brain before making remarks like that, please.

Aye OK.

We Scots are are silly numpties. We need things explaining to us in simple words.
