I am delighted to hear that your birthday celebration was tip-top, Ann. You deserved it to be just that.
Naughtyneine You, dear lady, are a tyke.
Hospital visit and shopping took up the whole of yesterday. Mr S's bloods remain stable. That's a big relief. He has lost a stone and a half since last year. He now has another visit to the same hospital to look forward to in three weeks. A scan to measure his aortic abdominal aneurysm. It's been a while since the last. Covid has messed up many regular routine appointments.
I've a telephone conversation with the cancer consultant tomorrow afternoon. I've not taken Exestemene for seven weeks. I cannot truthfully report that I feel better for the break. Exhausted all the time. She may try me on another drug, or I may need to pick up where I left off. Either way, I know that it will be in my own interest. There is a high risk of the cancer returning if I do not bite the bullet.
The sky last night was superb. I took a couple of photos to share with you. Now, for my sins (as the nuns would say at the convent school that I attended), I really do need to finish a pile of ironing.
My love to you all. Stay safe and remember to avoid the mid day sun.
