This page explains the letter codes.
(At the end of the section!)
Each abbreviation in the personality codes refers to the following sections:
Mind
Energy
Nature
Tactics
Identity
And each subsection contains two variables eg. ‘Mind’ can either be Extrovert or Introvert (hence the first letters in the code - Ex or Int)
I saw on another thread that you mentioned that you have found it a helpful resource; I’m pleased that you have enjoyed it.
Thank you.
The test I did before gave the result INFJ for me, which I think is the rarest.
In fact I was one point from being INTJ.
That was what seemed to balance my capability, and I suppose my desire, to analyse a situation precisely, yet apply the result of that analysis tempered by compassion.
Sort of making sure that the legal situation is known, that the other person shall have at least his or her legal rights, now, what better can I give.
But the test was structured differently.
It consisted of about fifty pairs of words and one needed to mark with a ballpoint pen the checkbox for which of the two words one preferred.
When we got the results it was rather clever how the lady administering the test calculated the result.
The test was printed on a sheet of paper, around A4 in size though perhaps not A4, and had a sort of carbon copy system such that calculating the result was by removing the top layer then on the backing sheet there were wide coloured diagonal bands in various pastel colours, and calculating the result was simply by counting the number of 'carbon' marks on each colour.
The test we have been doing here gives seven options for each answer.
Yet back then there were not the words like Mediator and Advocate. I am wondering from where they are sourced.
I think that for my result it was that I would be best suited to work in quality control, not in sales.
Emphasis was placed on the concept of finding the best role for people, not on deciding that one type of personality was better than another.
