Yes I’m one who thinks the likes of pride should be more than a day because it’s a much more serious matter mostly because lots of LBGTQ+ people face prejudice throughout their lives so Pride day, month, year, etc. is vital until people realise they are just the same as everyone else and should be included in everything as far as rights and all go.

people will not agree with me but i feel there are to many national days after all do we need a month of gay pride a day would do

Crazy ideas imo.
Kiss a Ginger was enough to make me think the world has gone mad, that was in January.

Well I’m far more likely to buy an apple turnover than wear a bikini today ?.

It’s also National bikini day *Elizabeth

I do not know why companies do it, no one takes much notice of these silly promotions

I haven't had one for years, however, now I have been reminded I shall buy one today. Maybe these silly promotions do work.

I agree with you Sago, so many now, most for trivial items, like 'National Apple Turnover Day' Not a great British culinary hero. The apple crumble and apple pie feature way ahead of turnovers.

I do not know why companies do it, no one takes much notice of these silly promotions.

I think the more meaningful ones are good because they create an awareness, as in say a particular illness.
The others are just funny for 2 minutes and that's it. I did enjoy cream tea day last month though because it gave me an excuse!

Today is National Apple Turnover day…..yes really!
There seems to be a National Day for everything, it’s just marketing.
I think we should scrap all these ridiculous days and have fewer more meaningful ones.
