Fl is controversial in their measures and mentality, always very republican.

I wonder where they get the budget from, given that teachers have to buy materials from their own budget

"There is no longer the need to hide in fear in closets or under desks. Finally, a safety measure that can potentially eliminate casualties is now readily available."

Problem solved - everyone happy.

Not sure where you got this, but I am living in the US and it hasn't made the news at all.

Thankyou. I can see the wisdom but what a shocking solution to a shocking situation. Like most people I am horrified at the gun culture in the USA . Is this slaughter ever going to end !!? It is such an alien concept and beggers belief, the horror for children , parents and staff is beyond imagination. I am unable to process what happens in American schools.

Far North, will explain please - what is the purpose? Is it to contain dangerously out of control students - hope not !!! Or uys it a bullet proof refuge in the event of a school shooter ?

Chewbacca Fri 15-Jul-22 08:57:46

Dear God; so the Land of the Free would rather have these in children's classrooms, rather than address the problem of guns for all? sadangry

Are they like panic rooms?

Here's the latest idea for safety in American classrooms.
