What's for breakfast?

I've just had yoghurt, mango chunks, granola & a large latte.

I highly recommend frozen fruit - don't each much fruit and fresh starts going off before I get around to eating it. Frozen fruit is very economical and absolutely no waste

Mango £2.20 for 500g
Pineapple £2.20 for 500g
Blueberries £2.20 for 400g

I’ve just had one of the mousse type yoghurts with a corner of lemon curd stuff. Suppose that’s breakfast, even though it’s after noon now. Thankfully this heat has sapped my appetite as well as my energy. ?Happy Birthday Kate1949

A crumpet for me too. I'm being taken out for lunch. It's my birthday ?? she said seeking attention ?

I have a late breakfast usually of two slices of toast with either honey, marmalade or a banana. I rarely have much before supper. I drink little else but coffee but had to resort to jars because I was drinking too much caffeinated.

Beautful

Good Morning Folks, have a fab day everyone

Porridge banana & apple ... have you ever thought of freezing your fresh fruit if you have any Riverwalk ... yes I buy frozen fruit aswell ... I freeze grapes especially ... take off stalk, wash dry throughly put in a plastic tub freeze hey presto ... don't stick together ... although an idea after an hour or so just shake the tub in case there is water, so stops them sticking together ... eat them frozen or pop into a cold drink ... then eat , also satsumas etc ... peel put them into segments freeze ... shake again so don't stick ... I eat mine frozen or put in a dish with others, defrost & eat ... enjoy

Pity we can't bottle the heat for the winter !!!

Have a good day ... God bless

Yes I sometimes freeze fresh fruit - last week I bought a large pack of blueberries which I put in the freezer and they easily separate when I want a portion.

I think I must be weird for never remotely fancying these oats/muesli/fruit type breakfasts.

I do quite like hot porridge in winter though.

annodomini Wed 20-Jul-22 10:56:40

Banana, Greek-style yoghurt, sultana bran cereal. Almost always.

lixy Wed 20-Jul-22 10:41:53

Our weekday breakfast is oats with blueberries and banana for me, muesli (Lidl's is great) with same fruit for him.
We have toast at the weekend. H
Habit leftover from working days.

MiniMoon Wed 20-Jul-22 10:34:47

Just a cup of tea. I rarely eat anything before lunchtime.

Pantglas2 Wed 20-Jul-22 10:31:47

Always home made kefir for me around 8 ish then today we’re out for brunch at Anna’s Tearooms in Conwy where I shall have pancakes with bacon and maple ? syrup ?? ?

Urmstongran Wed 20-Jul-22 10:14:10

Well we will be skipping lunch so just tea to think of! I’ve got book club so it’ll possibly just be roast ham from the local butcher on barmcakes with piccalilli. Easio!

Just one crumpet. I'm low on supplies so going shopping today.

Riverwalk Wed 20-Jul-22 10:07:29

I used to have that sort of breakfast most days - but then that left me with two further meals to think of what to have! ?

Urmstongran Wed 20-Jul-22 09:59:57

A lot. ?
We are meeting up for drinks at 2pm in Manchester so it’s a good idea to line our stomachs first (any excuse).
Sausages, hash browns and sliced tomatoes are in the oven now and then when ready in half an hour I will fry the eggs!

Baggs Wed 20-Jul-22 09:58:46

Dried dates and a teapotful (three mugs) of weak tea with milk.

Blossoming Wed 20-Jul-22 09:58:27

Oats with blueberries

Jaxjacky Wed 20-Jul-22 09:45:19

Nothing until about 12/1 when it will be either Oatibix or plain yoghurt with fruits, I do a 16 hour fast overnight.

Redhead56 Wed 20-Jul-22 09:40:35

Mugs of tea then porridge made with water sugar and milk drizzled on top. I leave it to cool right down before I eat it.

LtEve Wed 20-Jul-22 09:40:18

Kefir yoghurt, mixed seeds and nuts, blueberries and a chopped apple with coffee. I'm trying to improve my gut health.

nanna8 Wed 20-Jul-22 09:34:32

I usually just have a slice of fruit toast and an Earl Grey tea followed by coffee after an hour

dogsmother Wed 20-Jul-22 09:34:30

Blueberries, oats, mixed seeds, Greek yoghurt and a sprinkle of cinnamon. ( some days I addd a sprinkle of inulin powder)
Same thing different day.

Witzend Wed 20-Jul-22 09:33:21

I never want anything until at least around 10.30/11. Apart from about 3 cups of coffee, that is.

Then it could be anything - egg on toast, half a pack of halloumi, fried, with an apple, sliced peppers, some spinach, etc., a (lean) bacon sandwich

No cereal - never fancy it for breakfast, and no yoghurt, I’ve never liked the stuff.

Dh OTOH has his muesli/fruit first thing, before he even has a cup of tea or coffee. Weirdo!

Ladyleftfieldlover Wed 20-Jul-22 09:30:22

My usual breakfast is: pot of tea, pineapple juice, muesli, brown bread toast and honey marmalade, banana. If we are on holiday staying in a hotel I will often have a full English - but not every day!

TillyTrotter Wed 20-Jul-22 09:27:03

Muesli with milk and banana, and a glass of apple juice.

tanith Wed 20-Jul-22 09:23:01

Basic bran flakes with fresh raspberries.
