New Natural History GCSE

I'd love to do this. I like taking exams and did 4 O levels and 2 A levels in my 40's.
Hopefully it might become available at the adult education centre in Newton Abbot, before I get too old.
It's good news, and hopefully will make children much more aware of what is happening to our planet.

I’ve read the article that you linked to, and I’m still unclear who will be teaching it (which is why I asked) but reading between the lines, it seems most likely to be Science teachers with added training in field work.

I wonder if it will be classed as a Science subject then?

When I did my primary PGCE, you needed a GCSE in a science (I don’t think that it’s the case anymore).
I would definitely have chosen to study this!

Me too. I was thinking that I’d like to try it but I see that it won’t be available until 2025 and I’m sure my brain cells will have deteriorated even further by then. My mum took and passed Maths O level in her 60s.

Does it come under Science or Geography, I wonder?
