My smoothie maker thing …I can’t unscrew it. The purple plastic disc from Lakeland usually dies the trick but not this time.
Any ideas ? Hit it with a hammer ? Heat it ? Chill it ?

Take it to the Argy for Sven to manhandle ?

Run the dark part under the hot tap (as long as it can be wetted). This works every time for me on bottle tops.
Good luck!

Put on a pair of rubber gloves and give it a go.

How big is it?
I have a pair of nutcrackers which I use for opening stiff lids /caps
Bigger than that and it’s the mole wrench (which might be how I have broken the small oven/grill knob on my cooker .

I have a gadget which looks a bit like a very large nutcracker and it's great for unscrewing difficult lids.
It was MIL's, she did like buying gadgets.
This one is Brabantia:

I have used a neighbour or a visiting workman too on occasion!! But honestly the rubber glove trick works every single time. Read about it on Which.

As I'm just 5'1, I quite often have to ask someone tall to reach something on the top supermarket shelf for me. They seem to be pleased to be asked, but nobody has ever taken me up on my offer to get things off the bottom shelf for them. grin
