Who hasn’t had Covid?

Myself, husband and our grandchildren ( 5 year old twins) who live with us, have, and I will say, so far not caught the virus

Mr H and I have not had it. We have been very careful as I was put on the shielding and CEV list. We have had all our jabs and boosters. Nearly all our shopping is delivered and Mr H still wears a mask if he shops locally. We don't go out much or socialise.

Some of our family have had it but we haven't seen them since last Christmas so no contact there. We have test kits but have never had cause to use them.

I believe son in law had it in 2019. A healthy man who spent a lot of time flying around the world ended up hospitalised with "pneumonia". His symptoms were covid symptoms but of course it didn't exist then,? even doctors (outwith China) knew nothing about covid.
I have heard a number of people say they think they had it late 2019.

I may have had it before testing was available. I was under the weather for 3 days which is unusual. I don't get colds or flu normally. OH hasn't shown any symptoms. He spent so many years in China I reckon he has been exposed to most infections and has built up resistance.

I haven’t and I worked at an airport all through the pandemic until I retired in November. Only one of my immediate family have had it but most of my friends and their children and grandchildren have.

Oh that's interesting. I haven't heard that before. I'm rhesus negative too. Will do a bit of research on that. Thanks.

I've had it once - Delta, I wasn't sick really not even as bad as a cold. My husband dies of Hospital Acquired Alpha. My Middle daughter has had it twice. My oldest daughter hasn't had it but she never goes anywhere. My youngest daughter has three children ages 13-19 they all had it but my daughter and her husband didn't. My 21 year old granddaughter thinks she had it in December 2019. She has Cystic Fibrosis but she hasn't had it since then. All of the over 21s have had all three vaccines. I think it might be to do with either blood group or some form of genetics.

I’m another who hasn’t had it. I live in a small town as do my 2 sisters yet they both caught it.
We’ve all been careful, particularly my eldest sister whose son was very protective of her, and continued getting her grocery shopping for ages.
I did visit busier towns and go for socially distanced visits to friends and groups but wore masks etc. My OH is vulnerable so I was careful for his sake.
I suppose others are right tho, maybe I’ve had it and not known.

I haven't had it but have been leading a much more restricted life since first lockdown because my husband's so unwell and vulnerable. I've only been in a restaurant once in all that time, still wear a mask in shops etc. I think I'm more worried about me getting it than my husband as I'm caring for him and no family nearby so would be impossible if I were unwell. All of my children and grandchildren have had it but my SIL didn't, despite my daughter and granddaughter having it and one other grand child hasn't.

My dh and I haven't had Covid. We do go shopping, but we keep our distance and wear masks. We do not have much social contact and live in the countryside, so little contact with people. I daresay, if we mixed more, we might pick it up, it is still a worry and we don't consider ourselves immune, just careful.

Remember, it can be had without symptoms, so you may think you haven’t had when actually you have

Had it 3 times and LFT’s did pick up mine even when it was omnicrom. Also fully vaccinated. Only weird thing is that each time I have had it or the vaccine it has messed periods up and set the peri- menopause sky high with sever hot flushes etc. All very weird!

As far as in I am aware I haven’t had Covid. My DH developed it during surgery for tongue cancer but I didn’t catch it.

DH and I haven't had it so far, despite all our children, partners, grandchildren and extended family having it at various times.
We have had the heartbreak of Covid bereavement/ serious illness of close family members, so we are still being careful and testing regularly.
DH 's lovely sister died October 2020, her daughter was critically ill on a ventilator for months, thank God she is recovering slowly now after suffering a Covid pulmonary embolism. My sister's dear FinL died a year ago today.

We've no idea how we've avoided it, especially as we were staying with my son's family, looking after our 2 year old grandchild, when he tested positive for Covid, quickly followed by his Mummy and Daddy. I was in very close contact with the wee boy, providing childcare, so I fully expected to test positive a few days later, but we both stayed negative.

My blood group is O, rhesus negative. DH and I have have all our vaccines and boosters.

Neither DH or I have had it. I was really poorly with the worse cold I have ever experienced at the start of the pandemic. Very high temperature and aches and pains for a week, but every day I did a lft and it was always negative. So I wonder , did I or didn't I?

DH and I have had it, he's had one more vaccination than me but we were very careful an the height of the infections. The vaccinations obviously worked for us.

I haven't had it even though my husband caught it and I slept in bed with him every night!

We’re both the same as you Tickingbird. Neither of us are prone to colds or flu, so wondering if that has any thing to do with our apparent immunity. We’ve both had all vaccinations. Hope I haven’t jinxed things!

Fully vacc. Not had it, though was sat next to dgs who had it (I didn't know). Dh is a lorry driver, he hasn't had it either. I had a mild cold about 15 years ago before retiring from a gp surgery.

In our family and extended family caught covid until 15 may than it spread to everyone within 2 weeks how wrong were we

No Neither myself nor my DH have had it.
One DiL has had it 3 times in spite of vaccinations but neither
my son nor gd. have had it.

I do socially distance and wear a mask in busy places.

hubby and I have so far avoided it as well. I am NHS so tested twice or more a week.
All the kids, grandkids and partners had it, some of them twice. we have always been, and are still being careful.
I have enough respiratory problems without catching it so quite grateful not to have done

About four years ago I had flu, and have never felt so ill. I lost my sense of taste and smell for over two years, and when Covid was rife I started to report daily to the 'Covid19' app at King's College. They did a few random in depth Covid tests on willing participants , and the results came back to say that I had a very high level of immunity. Pretty sure from this that I had Covid back in 2017/18. OH and I have had all jabs and boosters, and we haven't caught it - so far.

One of my grandchildren who is a small young girl in her mid teens( she was born 13 weeks premature) hasn’t had it. Her parents and her brother and sister and friends have all had it and been in close contact with her. She almost never gets colds, either.
