Parcel returns

Any one else irritated by the lack of invoices and sticky labels to return parcels. A small problem I know, but I find it annoying. Now we have to go on line and book a slot and print off a lable! And they say it is to save paper, a poor excuse.

Sorry, I don't agree. It would be a waste of paper if every parcel despatched included all the required paperwork for returning the contents to the suppliers.
I would be alarmed and a tad annoyed if every parcel I received, and there is a significant number as I cannot go out shopping, contained the 'returns' paperwork.
A short note about the suppliers returns policy is enough surely?

Very irritating. And the last time Evri/Hermes collected a return after the faff of going online, printing the label and booking a collection, it mysteriously didn’t reach its destination - though I did get my refund. I really hate this system (and Evri).

The paperwork can be minimal Polly, and frequently is.

amazon is brilliant - go online, print form, stick on, postman collects on a pre-arranged day. Much much better than wasting paper giving every parcel returns form.

Of course not everyone has a printer.

I don't have a printer at home. Don't want the extra expense (or bother - I'm not very practical) of ink cartridges. So yes, it does bother me when my returns don't come with a label.

I sell a lot of used stuff on Vinted and prefer it when the buyer uses the returns system where I just get a code and the returns shop just scan the code from my phone.

It is mostly for the ease of the supplier, not us the customer. Often I take a return for Evri and my local petrol station/ collection point tell me “sorry, the machine is broken”.
No machine means no return for a few days.
It is all sent to try us I am sorry to say.

I like the ones that send a QR which the PO zaps and prints the label. No waste paper and really simple.
