Airport nightmare!

What a nightmare-and how can there be no record if your family had print out information.
Hope they all get safely home.

That must have been so stressful for your family Witzend must have taken the shine off the holiday.
Why are holiday companies etc so inefficient.

That sounds incredibly frustrating Witzend. You won't be able to settle until they are safely back home.

My daughter and partner will be travelling back from Langkawi (Malaysia) tomorrow with 2 flight changes en route. I won't be happy until they're in their own home.

Poor dd and family - after lovely hols, got to airport for a late evening flight with 3 young children, to be told there was no record of their booking (despite printout confirmation) so tried re booking but all cards declined for no apparent reason. So phoned me - all mine declined too! At least one other passenger had the same. Presumably some problem with internet.

After endless faff, missed that flight, had to find overnight accomm, but eventually dh managed to book them on another airline for this morning, but going to Gatwick -their car is at Luton!

They are finally through security and on their way.
Just heard that the co. they booked through is picking up the tab for 2nd flight, and they’re taking a taxi to Luton - will be claiming the cost of that, too.
