DH was was once mistaken for Alex Ferguson, we were staying in a hotel and someone from another table sent over a whisky for 'Alex'. When we got home I told son about the mistake and said his Dad looked nothing like him, he promptly produced a photo of Alex and his wife sitting at a function and blow me they could have been us
I look like uncle Fester, these days. Before that, all kinds of different people, none of whom look alike have been suggested to me. (From the quite lovely, to the bloody awful)
For many years lots of people said my brother looks like Cliff Richard. He is in his early 70s but looks younger than 50, his hair has never gone grey and he is as slim as he was as a teenager. My SIL moans that people must think who is this old women he is with! People call him Peter Pan but sad he has early onset Alzheimers.
When I was working and very much younger I was likened by my patients to Gill Gasgoine - a detective on a programme called the Gentle Touch. A bit later a dear sweet older gentleman called me Gina Lollobrigida! I think he was half blind.
