I have a cuff BP monitor ,have had high BP since pre eclampsia in 2 pregnancies .If I have a GP appointment I take BP 3 or 4 times a day for a week and keep the numbers for the GP .Your BP will change constantly throughout the day and monitoring it all the time isn't really ideal if you are a worrier .it will scare the wits out of you at times .If your doctor thinks you need 24 hour monitoring they will arrange it for you .

Heart rate monitors and BP monitors are different. My Fitbit measures my heart rate constantly which is reassuring. I wish it would do BP too but just not feasible.

I am aware that there are loads of the small portable units.
Could I ask if any one knows of blood pressure monitor where you can stick a patch near heart area and measure B/P that way on a constant basis like what is carried out in hospitals.
Maybe similar to what you see joggers using,
that are wrapped around their arm. Thanks for any info in advance
