I don’t read the articles but see the headlines, the poor couple must be seriously damaged by the constant attention and criticism they are receiving.

I’m not a fan but enough is enough surely!

Well goodness me a young woman who made her name in the entertainment industry and a young man raised by a family constantly in the public eye continue to do what they have always done and court publicity. Obviously they have to be stopped, especially since their perceptions of what went on in a family ,which is regarded by some with almost holy reverence, cast doubts upon the validity of those beliefs. If they don't stop we may have to re-introduce burning at the stake for heretics, especially those who are obviously witches and have cast a spell on our handsome prince. Then the prince can return happily to the caring family where he belongs.
No idea where the bullying comes in wink

Wonder why they didn’t mention the fire to Oprah

Brilliant thread to start! This will get GN back on track hmm

Too right it will!

It’s like a Gransnet Panto crossed with a lovely pair of comfortable slippers.
We all have our roles and know our lines off by heart

No more criticism of Andrew please, if you respect the Queen, he is her son, and no more criticism of William and Kate’s
choice of school for their children, if you respect the Queen,
her grandson and great grandchildren.

Andrew lied in a tv interview as did the Sussex’s,

Andrew (allegedly) had sex with a trafficked girl and paid her $12million to shove off and keep quiet.

M&H said some things in public to upset the monarchists.

Completely comparable. Completely. No difference at all. All must be treated exactly the same. ???‍♀️

They seek constant attention

Completely agree, but as I’m sure you’ve realised by now it isn’t going to happen on Gransnet.

Nasty woman, coming here, marrying our Prince when Catherine had a perfectly acceptable sister that we would be glad to call a Duchess. The great British public has standards when it comes to which members of the Royal Family we choose to laud, dont you know. Harry was brought up to know better.
In case my post is open to interpretation, I am taking the pxss.
The negative opinions expressed on H&M threads are beyond my understanding. Poor William and Catherine. They dare not put a foot wrong in case the press and public opinion turns on them too. Even their poor children are photographed pulling faces for public edification.
Set them all free, I say, to lead normal lives.

They’re not being bullied. People are entitled to make negative comments about the podcast if they want to.

I haven’t listened to it because I can’t think of anything worse than nearly an hour of Meghan talking about herself ?

I thought the OP meant that Meghan and Harry were going to stop bullying the Royal Family with their innuendos and underhand accusations.

Silly me! Now I've read the thread I am enlightened.
?

I think they court attention and when they are out of the limelight for a while up they pop again. I think she knew what she was doing when she married harry I'm not sure that he did.

Then there's the fact that when they were thinking of moving into Adelaide Cottage it was a sprawling mansion, but now the Cambridges are moving there it has transformed into a modest home. Amazing.

Recollections may vary on that one, volver. ?

I can’t bear hypocrisy…‘nuff said.

Apparently he complimented Serena on her hair and told her that it was a great vibe.

VioletSky Fri 26-Aug-22 14:59:08

Yes it's very boring now.

Smallest opportunity to pounce on the poor sods

Leave em be

Anniebach Fri 26-Aug-22 14:55:19

Did Harry joined in singing about raindrops?

Ladyleftfieldlover Fri 26-Aug-22 14:52:26

I still believe it boils down to the fact that rather than marry an aristocratic English girl, Harry chose a black American outspoken divorcee who is older than him! P Morgan is immensely cruel simply because she had a drink with him. Once. When he didn’t receive a wedding invitation that was it. His knives were out. I also believe that most of the c* printed in the dreaded tabloids is made up nonsense.

Mapleleaf Fri 26-Aug-22 14:52:14

As regards to the heading of this thread - yes, exactly!! Let’s start right now.

nanna8 Fri 26-Aug-22 14:50:51

Come on, they love it. Attention freaks.

Lexisgranny Fri 26-Aug-22 14:49:44

However her recollections during her podcast do raise questions:

She called the accommodation provided for them in Australia as a Housing unit, when in fact it was the home of the High Commissioner. Rather an insult.

The alleged incident In Archie’s room (according to staff there) related to a heater was not plugged in and was dealt with immediately.

If it was such a dramatic episode, why did she not relate it during her tv interview for ITV when she was complaining about the way she was treated?

As was said after her Oprah interview ‘Recollections may vary’

MissAdventure Fri 26-Aug-22 14:35:32

Oh, and she put her hand on her pregnant stomach.

MissAdventure Fri 26-Aug-22 14:34:35

I saw meghan called a two bit actress on here.
I'm not sure that was a commentary on anything much.
Then there is the fact that she touches her husbands back.
Disgraceful!
