Shield soap - anywhere?

Hello gnetters. Has anyone bought Shield soap recently? Have always used it till a few months ago when suddenly the shelves in Asda, the only stockist that I could find, were empty. Having emiailed the manufacturer, was told that there was a supply problem which they hoped to resolve soon. Have phoned local store and customer services, both unhelpful. Nearest store is a 12 mile round trip so don't want to waste fuel going there if not available. I get Ocado delivery so wouldn't want much other shopping. Wonder if anyone has found it recently. I know other soap is available but I really want to buy Shield!

Sainsburys, Asda and Amazon are showing it available.

Oh wow! A blast from the past. I loved the smell of Shield and it’s rich lather. I NEED to get some. grin

Thanks for the replies. Have just returned from a trip to Asda, having nothing better to do on a BH Monday! Found some on the shelves and almost bought a shelf-full as don't know when I will next be there. It was only £2 for a 4 pack, so bought 4 packs for £8. That makes Amazon's price ridiculously high! It will probably last us about a year so that's good.? I am happy now.

Shield is the only soap my husband likes. He hadn't been able to get it anywhere for a few weeks (and used Imperial Leather instead). He managed to get some Shield from our local Asda this morning. He bought 2 packs.

I recall shield soap from years ago.......the punchline I think was "works all over, all day". Tried it in my youth and soon discovered it was far too harsh for me. Don't buy it so never look for it, sorry, can't help.

I too was searching high and low for Shield soap. It is finally in Tesco stores now.
