It is such an exciting time awaiting the birth of a grandchild. My son texted me updates throughout DiL’s labour. I hope it goes quickly!

Hmm, not as far as I know!!
We had an unexpected but very welcome grandson last year, our family lockdown baby.
My daughter had given up hope and suddenly he was on his way ?

Ten grandchildren is an amazing number! Fingers crossed you won't have too long to wait ?

My daughter-in-law’s waters broke last night and she’s been having contractions, on and off, all day. We’re taking care of the dog, the other grandparents have our granddaughter…..and we’re all on tenterhooks hoping that baby puts in an appearance overnight.

It’s been a difficult year with many family members having serious health issues, so we’re all looking forward to the joy that a new baby brings.

Is anyone else in line to be a granny before the year’s end? This little chap will be my tenth.
