Surely people can plan to shop one day ahead.

I can remember when shops didn't open on Sundays - it didn't seem incredibly inconvenient, it just was how it was.

They're open on Sundays now, they'll be open again on Tuesday.

That’s incredibly inconvenient for the majority of people who’s lives won’t be stopping next Monday.

That’s good to hear Jax
Lots of replies and complaints about them opening on Asdas face book page

Surely we can all manage for one day
Don’t think supermarket staff ever get double pay .

Nobody is forcing anyone to go to shop there on that day. But, for many who will do so, they will be very grateful that their lives can be kept as normal as possible.

I assume that all the staff working will be receiving at least double rate of pay - which will probably be a life-line for them.

The death of a specific 96-year old and their funeral makes no difference when trying to pay utility bills and purchase food for the family.

Think Asda is the only supermarket opening on Monday
How disrespectful and money grabbing of them
