Is anyone watching the service from Cardiff ? I didn't intend to but have sat down for a cup of tea in between chores. The music and singing of the choir is absolutely exquisite. Maybe I'm a but biased because my mum is Welsh.Even Camilla who has looked shattered lately (apparently she's got a broken toe ) looked at peace and transported elsewhere for a few moments.Well done Wales !

It is a beautiful service

I thought that too about Camilla. We had thought of making our way over to Llandaff but not quite up to standing around for hours. It shows Llandaff at its best.

Yes I have it on.
It's very peaceful, I hope it's providing an oasis of calm in a busy week for Charles and Camilla.

Cwm Rhondda ???????

The anthem with harp accompaniment brought tears to my eyes. It was beautiful.

The peace and solemnity didn’t last long. Why are the crowds screeching?

My mother's side of the family are welsh, the family moved to London during the war and unfortunately I never met any of them. I've just discovered from my 85 year old aunt that her great uncle was John Hughes, the composer of 'Cwm Rhondda'.

I have it on iplayer now.

Such a lump inside me, that was near where I lived for much of my adult life. I learned to ride in pontcanna, where he landed and I knew sir Brooke Boothby from riding days, lady Boothby lived near where I rode my horse and was always at local horse events. Such a yearning has come back to me, I loved wales and its people so much and that life back then was simple, based with animals, local people and local events

I will watch the service now, no doubt I will turn to jelly when all that beautiful music plays

Yes wasn’t it all just lovely. I thought though that Charles has lost weight.

It was a beautiful service. I watched it on ITV+1 after getting back from walking my dog where I could hear, if not see, the navy military band rehearsing at HMS Sultan.

I thought the choir sang the glorious music beautifully throughout the service. There was an air of peacefulness too.

Camilla seems to have lost quite a bit of weight as well.

They all seem to have lost weight, especially Anne. We were going to go to Cardiff today, park just outside Cardiff and cycle the Taff Trail into the centre but my blasted back has gone into spasms, so we didn’t go

MiniMoon I agree; the anthem with 2 harps was so beautiful. I got the shivers and asked DH not to speak! Heavenly music.
