just been watching LIFE after DEAF by John and Joe Bishop. Full of fun, seriousness, sad and honest frank talk with John bishop and his son joe who started going deaf from about the age of 6. Both of them learning sign language and with John bishop doing a small gig using sign language. I lost some hearing from age 3.5, so a lot I could relate to in this programme. I don’t sign but seriously thinking of learning. If anyone has missed this programme do try and get hold of it, very good and shows how large there is a deaf community out there.

I watched it too bevispl . John Bishop was visibly shaken in parts of it when talking with other deaf people and not realising how it may have affected his son.
A good programme I thought.
