Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, where its currently 8°C.
Mick is there anyone who could support you with your hospital appointments? Two heads are better than one!
You seem to be in a bit of a muddle at the moment and that's not good for your wellbeing.
The sooner you are seen the better.
GM, not believing you, was upsetting, but the OT has a duty of care to your friend and legal obligations to comply with. Your home must be formally assessed to see what equipment is needed and to look for hazards in your home.
You are very generous of spirit, but it is a big undertaking. I do admire your kindness and determination.
Many on here have been involved in OT inspections for elderly family members, I was quite surprised at what was assessed.
We had a lovely day yesterday at DS2's, with the inlaws, the afternoon flew by. The wedding pictures were stunning and many were extremely atmospheric and quirky.
DS spotted one of DH and I holding hands, we don't do PDA ( public displays of affection.) I said it was to stop me falling down the vertiginous steps of the church! ?
Fortunately we made it home, just as it was getting dark, DH had a few nipy sweeties, so wouldn't have been able to drive my car!
This morning, DH plans to decorate our bedroom, it should be a fun day.
He wants me out of the way, so I shall take myself up to the peace and quiet of church and and work on collating the parish census forms. That should keep me out of trouble for the morning.
Blossoming, I hope you are feeing a bit better, nausea is so debilitating. I seem to be becoming more and more dependant on anti nausea medication these days. I can empathise with how miserable you have been feeling. ?
Best wishes to all with medical appointments and happy holidays to those who are away from home.
Have a pleasant Monday all.
