Third Grand child imminent!

Hi Ladies,
Could I have some inspiration on what to get for my third grand child's arrival please?

I thought about the usual money but it would be nice to give a long lasting gift / memory as well to look back on for the bubba when grown up...I hope! Thank you.

A children's book: perhaps one that you loved as a child, with the date and a message inside from you to him/her.

ask the parents ,they get so much when a baby is born its hard not to find duplicates .Give them a price range and as for a list within it ,then you still get to choose and they still get a surprise

Bought a memory box for my last grand child. Wish I though of that for the other 5.

As a keepsake I like the Beatice Potter bowls and mugs from Wedgewood, or the Bunnykins from Royal Doulton.

Bone china is strong and can take dropping, but I believe that you can find really cut melamine sets for children as well.
