My husband and I have never worn slippers since we were young children.

Zoejory Sun 02-Oct-22 08:10:40

I don't have slippers either. Barefoot or fleecy socks in winter

No dishwasher either

Grandma70s Sun 02-Oct-22 08:07:35

Car

Bath (shower only).

I don’t know what a fire pit is, but I’m sure I don’t have one.

I do have a hair dryer somewhere, but I don’t know where it is.

I too use the dishwasher as a cupboard.

Never had:
any pets.
tumble dryer
more than one tv
a large tv
Any streaming service
Hairdryer
carpets, only rugs

My aunt thinks I'm very lazy for using my dishwasher every day. She only uses hers when she has a family meal. My energy is very limited and the dishwasher helps.

I don't have an air fryer either, but probably will soon.

Or a dog. Although I like dogs.

We don't have:

A dishwasher (would have but no room)
A cat (but have a dog)
A Butler (Mr R suggested this but it would be handy!)

Air fryer - tried it but they don't suit my style of cooking
Fire Pit
Dog

Dishwashers are much more economic efficient than washing pots by had and I wouldn't be without ours. And, I'm not lazy.

Oops I’m sure Serendipity didn’t mean it like that.
She’s a lovely person

Dishwasher.... dont want 1, in my view they utter laziness

Really? A bit early in a thread to start throwing insults around.

FannyCornforth Sun 02-Oct-22 07:50:09

Do most people really have a fire pit?
Serendipity I agree about dishwashers
Unfortunately we were given a nearly new one. I keep my Tupperware type stuff in it

MrsTagain Sun 02-Oct-22 07:48:35

Car, dishwasher, tumble dryer, air fryer, Alexa, husband , laminate flooring!

Ha ha Mattie, smile it does seem that everyone and their cat has an air fryer.
I’ve a feeling that I might succumb quite soon

Don’t have a hair dryer either, nor fire pit!

Oopsadaisy1 Sun 02-Oct-22 07:35:13

Air fryer
No longer have a dog
MrOops is allergic to cats, hence no cat.

I’m sure my list will grow when I see what others think are ‘normal’ items to have!

Enough space - it’s a constant source of annoyance

A thermostat

Question for non slipper wearers please : what do you wear instead? Just socks? Barefoot?

I generally go barefoot.

absent Sun 02-Oct-22 07:31:18

Sadly, I no longer have a dog.
