How exciting!!! Especially as you had almost given up, we were the same but now have two little grandsons (1 & 4) and being nanny is every bit as wonderful as I thought it would be!

Does your daughter live near you ?
I’m sure everyone can remember that feeling of excitement when we first heard we were about to become grandparents.

I’ve been waiting for years for this news but finally it’s in, my eldest is expecting a new baby in the new year.
My eldest was born in ‘82 so you can imagine I’d almost given up hope of any but surrogate grandchildren coming my way.
I’m allowed to choose what to be called as it’s the first but I’m happy to go with whatever (within reason). In my head I’m crying with joy “I’m going to be a granny” so probably should be that ?‍♀️
