I’m another naughty one, it’s five yeses for me. And oddly enough, like Skydancer, it was a black bin bag I stole (from work). I was emptying my locker before going on annual leave one time and didn’t have a carrier bag with me.
In my defence, the ‘stealing’ was always stationery cupboard related (I bet many people are guilty of that). And the amount of money of ploughed into schools more than compensates for sneaky a packet of blu tak. I’ve also ‘rescued’ a couple of undervalued things…
I once worked as a cleaner. The couple were extremely untidy and one of their kitchen cupboards contained about 100 screwed up dustbin sacks. One day I stole one as I couldn’t be bothered to go and buy my own. I could hardly sleep that night thinking they would realise one was missing but of course they never did.
All no. What a dull life I have led, but an overdeveloped conscience has been ever present. Wonder if I had been a generation later what the answers would have been?
