When sitting my Eleven Plus I couldn't think of a one-word answer to a particular question. I happened to glance over at the person next to me who had written the answer clearly. So I copied her. She didn't pass the exam and I did! I still know her to this day but have never let on.
Yes, yes, no, no, no, in no particular order. I have, and still do on occasions hide from one particular parent who I’m trying to train not to discuss her offspring’s in school behaviour or progress (any of three) when I’m not in school.
It’s 4 yes from me. Used to hide from a very demanding neighbour, then moved away and this morning I added 10 to my age to try and get Scottish Power to come out and read a meter - a ploy that failed. However to cheat in a test or exam definitely goes against the grain.
No to 2&4 Yes to the rest Hid from the vicar once, but crawling across the floor knelt on a squeaky toy. DH and I were laughing. Vicar continued to knock on front door.
Hello Sago Sorry to disappoint - 3 yays and 2 nays. I haven’t lied about my age or cheated in a test. Mr FC and I both hid together yesterday from the Amazon bloke (not wanting to take in next door’s parcel - that’s an admission in itself! The neighbour is a bit of a nightmare in our defence)
I hid in the kitchen when someone I was not a fan of knocked on the door, unfortunately they looked through the kitchen window only to see me and another friend crouching down. We then lied by saying we were looking for a contact lense (neither of us wear contacts) ?
