I’m sure you were aware that I was referring to manners, not policies, volver.

Yes I was aware of that Witzend.

But also, "a man may smile and smile and be a villain."

Given the choice between someone with good manners and someone who thinks that all those things were acceptable, I'd go for the person with no manners. Not that I'm commenting on anybody's manners.

I quite like Pete Wishart and Mhairi Black too. Remember Denis Skinner too? They're not "nice".

It is so tempting - but were I to give in to this Schadenfreude the list might go on a bit!
However it would definitely include Boris, Gavin Williamson, Kwarteng, Rees Mogg, and our own (useless) Tory MP here.

I agree that Angela Raynor probably hasn’t got the leadership qualities to lead her party. I think she’s quite a divisive figure (as shown on this thread) and the Labour Party would probably divide into extreme left wing and left of centre. We’ve had all this with the Conservatives and the Labour Party will learn from what happened with both Corbyn and the Conservatives. I think Starmer is aware of this. I think that’s why he brought her in, to unite the party rather than let it divide.

Really? I'd be far more inclined to vote for someone who left school at 16, pregnant and then still managed to get to where she is today. Paper qualifications aren't necessarily the be-all and end-all.

My local MP Gagan Mohindra, one of the 2019 bunch brought in for their Brexit stance, with little else to recommend them. IMO he is a lazy constituency MP, who tows the party line in votes and defends the indefensible when I've written to him. He replaced a well respected Tory MP who was kicked out of the party for his integrity in putting what he believed to be the national interests first.

Why can't posters just nominate who they wish to without starting to attack other posters.

The fact that you think not having an academic education beyond school is something she needs to rectify says more about you than it does about AR.
