My DH was always part of the VIP motor cycle group. He escorted most of the Royal family during his time and I have to say, it was a sight to behold. smile

I’ve watched them when Royals land at Northolt they are very skilled at holding the traffic and flitting in and out circling each other it’s like well rehearsed dance.

Yes, I love watching them Maw. Also enjoyed watching the Household Cavalry, though of course they weren’t part of the vavalcade.

Anybody else like me, fascinated by the outriders and the driving going to and from the Palace?
Some seriously tricky motorcycling - and am I right in thinking some driving up the wrong side of the roads?
But it was the outriders weaving in and out, coming up on the outside and the inside that I found the most compelling!
