Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark , signs of wet on pavements here in brackley but looks dry .
Today I will visit Bicester again whilst I have the opportunity , I have anther double appointment next month , I have a Glaucoma check in outpatients at Horton in Banbury , but had a call yesterday they want me to go to the pre op to give more blood samples prior to that appointment , so will be a very early start due to bus cuts to meet that appointment .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning all from a very rainy Glasgow, where its currently 13°C.

DH is taking me for lunch at the golf club, with DD and SIL, who are off this week. It means I don't have to cook dinner! That's the best bit!
Yesterday was a bit stressful, a gridlocked town centre, road closures, no parking spaces at 9am, DH couldn't remember his appointment time, and the opticians forgot to make DH's second pair of glasses.?
On a more positive note, we had to kill time in a charity shop and DH picked up the three latest Ian Rankin Rebus books, all hardback and unread!
This is despite DH having no interest in charity shops and declining to rummage with me!
There is a thread running just now about thermal tops and I managed to pick up a brand new Damart one, in a beautiful mauve shade for £4.
I guess it wasn't too much of a disaster after all.
I did the usual, came home and fell fast asleep, due to the exertion!

It will be pointless, but it's now fifteen weeks since my gastroscopy and still no biopsy results, so I may phone my GP.
Until the results come back, I cannot have any RA meds, never mind the new ones, for fear of causing further damage to my stomach. I am in limbo.

For those with hospital appointments, I hope they go well. Enjoy your time with your family, if you have plans.
Have the best day you can, Don't put off plans, if you can do them today. You never know what is waiting round the corner! ?

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 12° and dry. No need for the heating on this morning. Monk that sounds really painful. Ash so nice you got to see your family.
Yesterday I was at a still life art workshop and really enjoyed it. There were a number of different people there too which was also nice. I work in pastels but I'm going to go back to acrylic on my tutor's advice.
Today I'll visit mum. My friend is still away in her caravan. That's all I have planned. I'm not sure what the afternoon will bring. Have a good day all.

Good morning all and we have a beautiful sunrise here on the Suffolk coast.

It’s lovely to be back by the sea and the weather is due to be good. ?. Gardening is on the agenda and I’ve just noticed one of the sheds roof covering is coming loose. I don’t really want Dh climbing ladders as he’s getting very unbalanced. A phone call to our lovely handiman !

We need to find a plasterer as we are stripping wallpaper from a small lounge and the plaster is so old and crumbly, it needs replacing. Easier said than done around here.

We’ll walk little pooch along the beach and then do a couple of hours work.

Hoping today is a good one for all. ?

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders.
Grey skies but mild.

I have my booster and flu jags this afternoon and my lovely yarn group this morning.

I haven't read your posts yet but I will.

Good morning all from the Black country.
Well yesterday didn't go as planned, I ended up at the Midland eye hospital A&E. Thought I'd got something in my eye looked in mirror and my eye appeared to be completely covered in a giant blood blister you could barely see my pupil. Anyway triage nurse looked at it after saying she'd never come across one so bad it was a subconjunctival haemorrhage. She said she would like her consultant to take a look which he confirmed her diagnosis but because I'd done nothing to cause it wanted me to see GP for bloods & blood pressure test. Managed to get appointment blood pressure ok bloods results should be back by Friday. Anyway in the meantime to take things easy but its solved one problem just paint a few scars and Halloween face will be ready.
Will read through with my cuppa ?.
Best wishes for anyone celebrating, safe travels those on the move and virtual hugs where needed.
Take care all and enjoy your Wednesday and may you all find some ?.

Good morning from a damp and dull Black Country.

Lovely meal yesterday with my friend, Thai Red Sea Food Curry, and mini Sticky Toffee pudding. Weather was gorgeous and sunny, and afterwards sat in her Conservatory where it was warmer than outside.

Today meeting friends for a meal (bit like buses they all come at once). I will just have a salad though,

Urms I lost a ring recently, was missing for over a week. MrJ found it in the box where we keep onions! So look in odd places.

Wishing you all a good day

Good morningMick and all who follow from a rainy grey Angus coast. I'm not usually awake this early but have had a very restless night plagued by weird dreams - not like me at all.
Sounds like everything's coming together for you Mick. Enjoy your trip to Bicister today. And Grandmattie enjoy your time out with the WI sewing group
Lovely photo of the morning sky Pittcity.
Today is the day I take my friend out for a run in the car. She loves the runs up country, so let's just hope the weather cheers up later as forecast.
Have the best day you can everybody x

Good morning Mick, morning all from South Lanarkshire where it’s been raining overnight. Yesterday started off the same but turned into a beautiful day so here’s hoping.

I’ve an empty today as DH is going to help DSiL assemble furniture. I’ll do another pumpkin then crack on with the angels. Yarn bomb group this evening to plan the remembrance display.

Wishing everyone the best day possible.

Urmstongran Wed 26-Oct-22 07:51:38

Here’s Matt.

Good morning everyone from Málaga. It’s only just getting light goodness only knows how dark it will be this time Sunday morning! Himself has realised he hasn’t seen his wedding ring for a while (we don’t always wear them) so we’ll look for it later. Tonight he’s off with his Glasgow pal to watch the Rangers game. A late night as it doesn’t start till 9pm over here. Doubtless I’ll be in bed when he comes in!

Good morning all from dark Harrogate.
Make the most of your opportunity Mick enjoy.
Enjoy your needlework group GrandMattie.
Yesterday my new washing machine arrived before I went to my art group. While in town I called in on a shop to see if I would be able to trade my elderly MacBook for a newer model, they did have a newer one, so am hoping to do that trade this morning.
The rest of the day will probably be spent setting it up.
Have the best day possible folks

Good Morning Mick and everyone from Hull. We have another fine day today.

I’m going to go to the gym this morning while DH goes to walking football. At lunch DS is dropping GS off for the afternoon so he can go to work.
DGSs mum got the keys to her new house the other day so she took GS over to have a look. He doesn’t take well to change so he will still mostly live with our son and two or three days a week at his mums. It’s only a few minute drive away from Sons house. It’s very complicated.

Hoping today goes well for everyone and thoughts to those with complications and stress in their lives x ??

Abitbarmy Wed 26-Oct-22 07:46:13

Good Morning all, an early wake-up call at 6.15 this morning from DGd who’s been staying the night. Three more DGc coming round this morning so a very active day in store! Hope everyone has a good day if possible.

brook2704 Wed 26-Oct-22 07:36:38

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it looks breezy and dry.
Hoping your appointments go well mick
Pleased you got to see your DS and DGS yesterday Ashcombe and got outside for some fresh air too
I’ve a busy day today looking after our visitors, I think they’re all going out later so I’ll try to fit in a trip to the gym and a dip in the pool, for a bit of rest and relaxation before another busy evening.
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings ?

Nannagarra Wed 26-Oct-22 07:35:02

It’s damp and blustery on the Sefton coast as I bid you good morning.
Yesterday we had a birthday celebration…following the unplanned and early arrival of floor fitters. I’m hoping for a comparatively quiet Wednesday!
Whatever you have planned, may it involve a smile. Sending best wishes to all with appointments.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Still dark in South Yorkshire but it’s been wet overnight by the look of it. Hope your appointments go well today, Mick. I had an energetic (for me) day yesterday cleaning the car and cutting the back lawn which was long enough to hide elephants in! My very kind neighbour cut the front one for me. Not sure what is on the agenda today - food shopping more than likely. My DGS goes on his D of E expedition today. I am hoping that the weather stays dry for them all. I missed a phone call yesterday from the hospital where I am going for my hip replacement. By the time I saw the answerphone flashing it was too late to find out what it was all about but will get into it this morning.
Have the best day you can folks.

Pittcity Wed 26-Oct-22 07:27:26

Good morning from Colchester where the sun is rising. Another warm, dry day.
Wednesday morning coffee meetup in the city centre. Ironing to tackle this afternoon and maybe a bit of a tidy up in the garden.
Love to all ? x

Gala Wed 26-Oct-22 07:25:43

Good morning from a still dark Sefton. Rain is forecast but I am definitely not getting up to have a look. Staying here where it's warm & snug.

No exercise classes this week as our lovely instructor has Covid. No other plans so it's a very empty 'empty'. May have a mooch around the local retail park.....and lunch out perhaps.

Hoping all medical appointments go well & thinking of everyone with worries & troubles. Take care.

dragonfly46 Wed 26-Oct-22 07:25:30

Good morning from as Kitty says dark Leicestershire.

Coffee with friends and then will pop into Marks. Then someone coming to change our Smart (not so smart) meter and Ocado delivery.

Getting ready for a trip to London tomorrow.

Wishing everyone a good day.

hollysteers Wed 26-Oct-22 07:20:57

Good morning Mick and all from a dark northwest coast.
Quite a lot of appointments for you Mick!
I’m off to Shropshire on another coach day trip. Getting them in while the weather is ok, but missing my usual lunchtime recital.
Nice time at music club yesterday although it was a poor turnout for some reason. We not only had music, but also the mother in Psycho gave a monologue in a chair wrapped in a shawl, spooky!
Thoughts to those with worries and have the best day you can.

GrannyGravy13 Wed 26-Oct-22 07:18:17

Morning all

Third day of Granny duties, the teenager and nearly teenager are coming for a sleepover, I will pick them up after the gym this morning. I think we will take them to the local steak house as they both like ribs and it keeps me out of the kitchen.

Have your best day folks ?‍♀️?

kittylester Wed 26-Oct-22 07:04:25

Good morning all from a very dark North Leicestershire.

Not a lot happening here today. DH is off to the gym but that's about it.

Have the best day possible everyone.

crazyH Wed 26-Oct-22 06:24:19

I’m never up this early. Couldn’t sleep, tossing and turning, so thought I’d just pop in and say hi to Mick and everyone else. I might go back for another hour. In the meanwhile, have a nice day all !

Oopsadaisy1 Wed 26-Oct-22 06:23:33

Taking her!

Oopsadaisy1 Wed 26-Oct-22 06:23:16

Good morning from a dark Oxfordshire, I’ll open the curtains later.
MissOops has 2 appointments this morning one for the Physio and one to remove the stitches which should make bending her knee easier, MrOops is taking he as I can’t manoeuvre my car in the tiny underground car park.
MzOops and MasterOops are going home this morning, so beds all need changing and a shopping delivery later.
And that’s my day folks, exciting or not? Not.
Hope you appointments go well Mick
GM I know you love your sewing with marvellous results.
Good luck with your isolation this week Ash we did 3 weeks ago prior to MissOops knee op, as she stayed with us pre op.
Hope everyone has a good day. Will catch up on other posts later.

cornergran Wed 26-Oct-22 06:20:51

Morning Mick, morning All. Can’t give a weather report, still tucked up in bed, hopefully our corner of Somerset is dry

Woke at 3.30, no idea why. Decent day yesterday, sorted paperwork for the Residents Company with the help of a very kind and patient woman from Companies House. Off over the bridge today to deliver it then with luck a walk around Cardiff Bay, something we really enjoy but rarely do.

A phone call from our friend about her parents had me laughing with her, difficult situation though it has been and continues to be there are some very funny moments. Both parents will be in hospital today. Her Mum for surgery and her Dad for further assessment and care.

Sounds a decent day for you grandmattie, pleased there’s other support for your lodger. Enjoy your trip out mick, hope those forthcoming appointments go well.

Lying here thinking, as you do, I’ve been counting my blessings, so many people with more troubles and stresses than we have here. My thoughts go to you all. Hope Wednesday is kind to us all.
