Also massive well done to Urms. When Orlistat was first around so much was prescribed and we dispensed it as fast as it came into the pharmacy. Not many came back for a second script as you have to be very disciplined while taking it.So huge well done Urms, fantastic achievement💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Have a good day all.

Good morning Mick and all from a wet northwest coast.
Pleased to hear all went well for Ash💐
Had a nice lunch in city with friend yesterday but the exhibition rooms were closed. We are both bookworms so scoured the bookshops although I need more books like a hole in the head.
I’m in charge at our music club today and will have a quick run through of my chosen songs before I go. Hope my frogs have bu**er*d off.
Thoughts to those with worries.

GM that’s good news about Ash!
Washing machine doors - ours got jammed so I turned it off at the wall, turned it on again and hey presto the door sprang open.

grandMattie Tue 01-Nov-22 09:48:02

Just had brilliant news of Ash from olddudders, who is on his way to see her.
He says that she was off the ventilator by 11 pm last night and out of bed by 0830 this morning. I have sent all our good wishes.

Good morning Mick and everyone. It’s raining in my corner of Lancashire, looks like it’s set for the day.

Yesterday we went and picked up my new glasses, they are marvellous! Unfortunately I can now see more dust grin As I have no real plans for today and it’s too wet to go out for a walk I shall tackle the dust and get some exercise at the same time.

I love the nativity GrandMattie, I hope you have a quieter day today. Glad your DH is feeling better Shazza. Well done on the weight loss Urms, you are really disciplined! Glad you’re feeling better too GG13

Picturing you walking along with those balloons made me smile taichinan

Fabulous photo Greyduster, thanks for sharing.

November already, dark nights, crunchy leaves and bonfires 🐇🐇🐇

Thinking of all with troubles today, hope Ashcombe is recovering from her surgery flowers

Good morning from a damp but brightening Sefton coast.
Last night, just as we were about to eat, we had a phone call from DS. He and his family were at our front door, keen to trick or treat us.
Yes, house bedecked, sweets in a spider-like bowl, but… our bell wasn’t working.
grandMattie, thank you for the update on Ashcombe. I hope all went well and that she is making steady progress.
luluaugust, see if I can still knit - it’s like riding a bike
🤣 🧶 🤣
Love the nativity scene, especially the gifts.
When the decs are down, I’ll go to Tai Chi plus squeeze in a swim. Well, that’s the plan, but there’s no guarantee!
Have the best day possible everyone.
🌸

aggie Tue 01-Nov-22 09:30:10

That’s a gorgeous flower !
Meant to say earlier , when I couldn’t open the washing machine I gave it a hearty thump just at the edge of the door and it sprang open , which reminds me , I’ve washing to hang out !
I’ll be checking in to hear about Ash every best wish for a pain free recovery xxx

ShazzaKanazza Tue 01-Nov-22 09:24:49

Hi again just been out in the garden and have a newly flowering Delphinium and one budding it’s so mild out.

luluaugust Tue 01-Nov-22 09:18:13

Good morning all from a windy, dull W Kent. Driving today to see a friend for coffee. She holds strong political opinions so I shall sit back and enjoy the biscuits. After a quick lunch I am out for afternoon tea with another friend, she is moving house so probably shan't be required to say much there either. Considering I was always thought to be a chatterbox I think I do well!
Very best wishes to all, love the nativity I must try and see if I can still knit.

aggie Tue 01-Nov-22 09:17:08

Good morning everyone from a cold Co Armagh, and my heating is not working
Thick cardi and warm trousers the dress code for today
I’ve spent ages on the phone , sent pictures of various components and hope it can be fixed this WEEK !!!

Sar53 Tue 01-Nov-22 09:12:52

Good morning from a bright and sunny Essex by the sea. We had a lot of rain in the night but it appears to have gone now.

I have woken up with another headache this morning, the third day in a row. I'm not sure why, I appear to be sleeping ok.

Some admin to do today plus vacuum the floors.

Sending my best wishes to Ash for a speedy recovery and to anyone else who is ill.

Have the best Tuesday you can, much love xxx

Good morning everyone from a grey Northampton with rain forecast later, so not sure yet whether to venture out for our health walk or not after lunch.

Had a good yoga session yesterday with a packed room, barely space to stretch! Then home where I had a late brunch, then spent the afternoon changing the bed and general tidying upstairs. Need to Hoover up there this morning. Having ordered a double winter duvet for a DGD's bedroom, I found one stashed under her bed...... Apparently I can return it so long as I don't open the packaging.

Hope all is going well for Ash, and that she makes a speedy recovery.
Lovely Nativity, grandMattie.

I need to pick up button-band stitches today on the cardigan I am making for an elderly friend, which I will do if it is too wet for our health walk. Need daylight to do that.

Wishing all a pleasant White Rabbits day! (My youngest sister's birthday, the baby of the family is now 68!).
