Dear Hellogirl, there really are no words to express the depth of feeling and sympathy at a time like this. I was so shocked and sorry to read your sad news - love and my most sincere sympathy to you and all your family xxx

Another birthday wish to Mr. Soop. Hope it’s a good one. Also for all those worried about family members, best wishes and hope things work out well for you all. Families are wonderful but, you know,we never stop worrying about them. My large family are a blessing and I feel privileged every single day to have them - but still, I worry.

I`m sorry to have been absent lately, had a lot of worry about my son with cancer. He went into a hospice in Lincoln at the beginning of last week, was down for coming home today (Friday), but died suddenly last night, around 8pm. It was a great shock as, although we knew it was probably terminal, he was in good spirits in the afternoon, eating well, and looking forward to going home.

soop are the postmen etc on strike in Scotland on the same days as England because if so you may as well stay at home tomorrow as you will not be able to post anything. There are two days of strikes here, today and tomorrow.

Has sweetie pie popped in for a meal or three? She is due a feast I think.

yiayia I am not a fan of pizzas but that one your GS is carrying is enough food for 3-4 people. Where does he put it all?

We have had sunny but cold weather in London- I think it has rained mainly during the night the last couple of days.

I wonder if it can be frozen. Then you could make 2 smaller pies, one to eat and one to freeze.

annsixty Thu 24-Nov-22 19:29:03

It is lovely Blossoming, only fault it doesn’t keep as the bottom goes soggy the next day.
It is better made and eaten straightaway but as yet I haven’t had four people to cook it for😩

Aw Urms, that’s lovely ❤️

Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire cheese makes the most divine cheese and onion pie using the very simple recipe from Simon Hopkinson.

Himself has just come home. Dry. Said ‘it wasn’t too bad out’ but he did look like the Michelin Man!

His phone just pinged.
Daughter had send him a text “just pulling his football boots off & he said “I love Grandad”.

Aw.
Himself was really touched. 💙

Indeed it is Baggs: their farm shop is fabulous!
