Many Happy Returns of the day Greyduster🎂🎉
What do you find yourself avoiding more as you get older?
Good Morning Everyone,
Dark as usual , but its dry here in brackley .
Today , a local shop , before I go to Bicester , its become a routine .
Mainly that first walk in the morning , gives me an idea of how pace myself when out and about.
I received a respirator f sorts as a parcel yesterday from the Churchill Hospital , just in case I start to get breathless again its designed for heart, COPD , asthma related situs .
Take Care,
Mick
Many Happy Returns of the day Greyduster🎂🎉
Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. 2°C with frost on the grass.
My Americans (HelpX) have been helping but exhausting. The first night they locked themselves out and broke my door to get in.
Then last night their coats were stolen at the pub where they had gone to the quiz.
Luckily miraculously the coats were found on a skip this morning with nothing missing.
All this is bad for my heart rate.
I hope gMattie has her well earned break and the trains are kind
I've booked to see DS in a few weeks so fingers crossed 🤞 there are no strikes
Wishing kitty all the best and birthday wishes to Greyduster

And cake!
A late Good Morning from a bright, sunny, chilly N.,Cambs.,
Thinking of Megs today.
Warm Birthday wishes for Greyduster.
Caring thoughts for all who are poorly & those with daughters & sons who are unwell.
for you all. Take Care. x
Urmstongran, great views, little wonder you so enjoy your 'other' home.
Just popped back to wish GreyDuster as good a birthday as possible.
And to say thank you for the good wishes for DD1. I think she will be on her way home again by now.
Happy Birthday Grey...
Kitty I hope your daughter is soon on the mend..I will keep her and all poorly people in my prayers.
Kalu... We love Stella...we binge watched it after my op and when we both had Covid. Enjoy.
Shazza... I've PM you.
We’ll another interruption from DH. he is quite unable to do anything on his own except cough and watch TV!
Marydoll apparently they can’t get the staff, blaming it all on Brexit!! Doesn’t explain why i couldn’t get my inhaler on repeat from my surgery, they did apologise when I pointed out it is my lifeline!
Kitty sorry about your DD hope she is soon out again.
Happy birthday Greyduster enjoy!
Thankfully my washing machine is working now. It wasn’t it that was at fault! It was drainage from the sink!
Hope we hear from Ash soon.
We are ping on a trip today in the car to Masham, I haven’t been for about 20 years and looks like a nice day.
Have the best day possible folks
Thank you NannyJan5, there is actually a choice of three within reach.
Oh my goodness GrannySomerset always HAS to be on a Friday!
Many happy returns Greyduster.
Cold and sunny and the boiler has packed up. Plumber not answering his phone so will have to keep trying but doubt he will come this side of the weekend, so no hot water either. Am definitely not pleased with life but it’s minor compared with the tribulations of so many of you so I will think about something else.
Wyllow3 you will enjoy it once you make that first step!
Good morning all from sunny Harrogate chilly 5 degrees
As I have discovered train travel is a bit jerky, but you will get there GrandMattie. Take the opportunity to rest while there?
I’m trying to get into the habit of earlier nights and regular hours
Me too Holly! I wish I knew the secret
Sorry missed sending birthday wishes to Greyduster.Have a good time tonight .
Good morning Mick and everyone. It’s a beautiful sunny morning in my corner of Lancashire. Currently 4°C.
Not much planned for today other than a trip to the hairdresser.
I hope your trip goes well after all the problems Grandmattie.
Sorry you’re not well served by your GP and pharmacy at the moment Marydoll.
Happy Birthday Greyduster
Thinking of Megs, hope the lung biopsy is not too stressful.
Sorry to hear your daughter is back in hospital Kitty. As always, thinking of Baggs and her daughter, best wishes also to Ashcombe and Olddudders
Sorry to hear your daughter is back in hospital Kitty.

Good morning Mick and all from a mixed up weather wise northwest coast. I hope your respirator is a help Mick.
I’m off to art group soon, dishwasher on the go, cat fed etc.
Then one of our final rehearsals before our gig, so will record it to see what’s wrong. I’m trying to get into the habit of earlier nights and regular hours to combat my fatigue.
Thanks for your kind thoughts Blossoming
Thoughts to kittylester Ashcombe and birthday greetings Greyduster
Good morning Mick, Annie and all. It is a bright, shiny day here, so good for the soul.
GrandMattie, I hate the thought of you being reduced to tears. Shows that you have had enough trials and tribulations recently. Have a lovely visit with your family and relax a bit!
Happy birthday Greyduster 💐😘
Sorry to hear that your DD has had a bit of a blip Kittylester, let's hope she soon feels better.
Shazza, that is such good news about your little GS. Once he gets the hang of it, there'll be no stopping him.
While we were out yesterday and having a coffee, I read about the NHS changing drugs to less expensive ones, and the awful effects that it is having on the patients.
Is that what happened to you Marydoll with the biologics?
Yesterday, we changed some of the things in the kitchen around. Into different cupboards, for easier access. Now I just have to remember where everything is 🤞.
Have a good day one and all.
Morning from S Yorks where it is sunny and I have a meet up with a friend in the Botanical Gardens. Wash on - the sheets, since its sunny, I don’t have a dryer. May go to the gym too if energy permits. I have a print out of local well-being walks too NannyJan53 its a matter of getting around to it…
Greyduster have as good a one as you canid the circumstances. Just glad you’ll see your family tonight..
So glad you have found a train to go on, GM
Best wishes for your DD1 kitty
Good to have the respirator to hand, Mick.
Wanna be on holiday with the glittering blue sea!
It can be difficult indeed Gingster with surgeries one has to do so much “joining the dots” oneself.
enjoy outings, workouts, and family all. I had a nice call from DS last night for a catch-up.
Have a very happy birthday Greyduster enjoy your family time🎉
Thankyou for good wishes regarding GS. It’s wonderful as we thought he was going to be non verbal. My lovely dream some weeks ago of a conversation with him might not be too far off.
Greyduster 🎈🎉🎈
Good morning from a sunny W Kent. Heating on for a short while yesterday it was so cold and damp. Shopping today and a bit of ironing.
Happy birthday Greyduster.
Marydoll I hope you get the meds sorted out. DH had a similar problem with the pharmacy at the Drs and eventually contacted the manufacturers and asked them where he could get them locally, after a bit of running around he was able to pick them up from a well known chain.
I also hope we hear from Ash soon.
Best wishes to all.
Good morning from a bright Bridport, off to West Bay later and we’ll have a good walk. Our meal out last night was delicious, finished mine with an Irish cream crème brûlée.
Thoughts with those poorly.
🦩🦩
Wishing you a happy birthday Greyduster 🎂🥂
Good morning all from Glasgow where the temperature has risen to a barmy 3deg. However, we also have blue skies and sunshine.
I’m sorry to hear DD1 is back in hospital kitty, your poor girl has been through enough and hopefully, all goes well for her and she is home soon. What a fright I got when you said it was DD3!
Such a worrying time for Megs too.
Lovely, happy news Shazza, your excitement is jumping off the page. So pleased for your GS.
Glorious views Urms, I can almost feel the heat.
DH is so much more motivated after his good news, a complete turn around to a positive mindset.
Once I have collected a prescription this morning, it will be a quick return for an at home day foutering about. We are watching a very good TV series, Stella which I thought was a new series but a friend told me it is years old. What a talented woman Ruth Jones is.
Best wishes to all for a good day and as always, hoping today is a better one for all with troubling times.
Good morning Mick and everyone from sunny Carlisle where it is 1C. We have our first frost this morning, a warning that I should turn off the water supply to the outside tap.
Yesterday, the sunny morning turned into a showery afternoon but not before I'd got out in the garden and continued my soakaway project. I'm now awaiting the delivery of a raised bed kit to give the new shrub the best chance of survival.
I also had a wrestle with the Avanti website booking trains. Limited tickets and getting so expensive! I had to change times and days to get something suitable. And of course, the trains may yet be cancelled...
Today, various odd jobs beckon plus a possible stroll out after lunch and I'd like to catch up with my reading. I have two books on the go at the moment, one fact, one fiction, same historical period. Which one I pick up depends on the state of my brain!
I hope we get news of Ash and that she's getting on well.
And wishing all the unwell improving times.
