A Magimix without a doubt. They are real workhorses, and will do pretty much anything.

I've had one for decades, and bought a cheaper one for our lodge, but soon replaced it with another Magimix as there was no comparison. I have the biggest, most powerful one at home (bought when I was cooking for the family) but a smaller compact one in the lodge, and they are both good. The small one has (obviously) a smaller footprint, which is why I chose it, but does the same things as the big one. If space (and money) were no object and I had to choose one, I would go for the bigger one, I think, even for two people, as the engine is more powerful and it feels effortless.

Definitely a Magimix, last forever and do everything with the right attachments.

Magimix, solid & reliable. Had mine for over 20 years, a treat to myself at the time and felt as if I was being rather extravagant but has proved it's worth. Not sure how the new ones are but I have never put the main bowl or various attachments in the dishwasher, A few years ago late November/early December time Mr TL was drying up and dropped the main bowl which broke, I looked at him in horror and wailed what will I do now with all the Christmas cooking to do? He was most apologetic and immediately went off and phoned Magimix, think he gave them a sob story about his life not being worth living at the moment and asked for a replacement for my already older model (paid for of course), we received one within a few days so great customer service as well.

We use a Cuisinart, I find it useful.

Makes fast work of nuts, children's drinks, houmous, pesto.

I have had Braun for many many years and found it very good.
