Thank you Franbern, I`ll be looking into one of those sites tomorrow.

If you google 'electric wheelchair hire in London' quite a selection comes up.

Thank you for your replies. I haven`t rung them yet, but looking at the website I get the impression that they are ordinary wheelchairs, not motorised ones.

Sorry Joseanne just realised you said the same - I stupidly misread and thought you were talking about the Westfield!

It may be that you have to hire a scooter if no motorised chairs

Just googled this - here's something to look at:

Have you called the O2?
They may have them - and if not be able to advise.

Thank you, I`ll enquire.

Not sure about types of wheelchairs.

At Westfield Stratford there is Shopmobility where you can hire wheelchairs for free. You have to give some details like driving licence or passport. I don't know whether they have the same system at the O2, but worth a try.

Does anyone know of anywhere near the O2 in London that hires out powered wheelchairs by the day? I`m going with 2 of my daughters in February, and as I`m not very able bodied we usually take a wheelchair. But this year they both have health issues and as I`m not the lightest person on earth they will probably struggle pushing me around.
