Sainsbury's 2014 one. Nothing will ever top that for me.

Just googled that one Rosie now that really made me emotional

I read different things about it before watching it - from "the most depressing Christmas ad ever" to "groundbreaking". I wouldn't go as far as to describe it as either of those, but it's quite moving.

I've got a feeling I've seen the girl actress somewhere else before, but can't remember where.

I’m another who thought the girl looked vaguely familiar CatsCatsCats. I had a look on Google and she’s a well established actress. I’ve not seen any of the programmes she’s featured in so I’m not sure why I think she looks familiar.

Thanks, Grannynannywanny. It must have been The Bay I recognised her from. She's got one of those sad faces which works well in this kind of advert.

Have you all watched the alternative ad. It brought a tear to my eye which is not something that happens often. Perhaps feeling under the weather with a bad cold has made me a softy!
