The fact is the winner won a scholarship meant for a female. He won purely because he's transgender, and in doing so denied a female their rightful scholarship. I don't particularly like beauty pageants, they seem rather shallow to me, but no female who looked like him would have even qualified to take part, as verified by the obvious that none of the others do look like him. Some people would sacrifice any number of females to any male who 'claims' to 'identify' as a woman.
