Yes there are 2 sexes but men and women can present in any way they like. It has no impact on their sex I agree. But there are stereotypes about how men and women should be.

My opinion is that Beauty Pageants should be a thing of the past for either sex.

It is 'interesting' that an obviously male person should now be 'the ideal vision of American womanhood' though. That really does sum up what many of us have been saying for years - men want us to step aside in all spheres. We are becoming eradicated.

I am not defending beauty contests, but given that they exist, look at the other contestants. They are all women and look like 'ideal' women are supposed to look. They are not overweight. They have breasts and obviously female bodies, but they lost to a man in a dress. The message is not very subtle, is it?

I loathe beauty pageants so couldn't really care less. If a man thinks he's gorgeous and others agree, what does it matter? Women have harder battles to fight.

My opinion is that Beauty Pageants should be a thing of the past for either sex.

At one point, being gay was going too far

Same for same sex marriage, adoption by single/same sex couples, assisted reproduction, women living on their own being single, etc

Society just needs to adapt
