Well, I’ve just completed an online gender quiz.

I’m 40% girl; 30% a-gender;
20% gender fluid; and 10% boy! 😃

‘Whether you were born with a vagina or not,’ it tells me, ‘you think you should have one’

No wonder da kidz are confused with this rubbish floating about

When we voice our concerns about the negative impact a few are having on those who simply want to live their lives in peace and safety, we are being supportive.

The umbrella term LGBT etc + has become almost all encompassing
a fact which is not totally welcomed by those under the umbrella.

I’m wondering if I should identify as ‘gender conforming’?

Trans Awareness Week also wants to raise visibility and acceptance of us too.

I’ve never given birth, I don’t shave my armpits, I’ve never worn heels…
Is there a check list somewhere?

Good post Vintagejazz, but the truth of your words will fall on stony ground where blinkered posters are concerned.

It amazes me that someone can’t understand that the problems for peaceful trans, not just for females, have been caused by some trans themselves, and exacerbated by the actions of those who either
• applaud their actions,
•reinforce their actions by using violence towards women
or
• are unable to admit that those actions have caused the problems.

Time and time again the majority of us say - we are NOT against trans people.

However we don’t want the rights of women, so hard fought for, to be taken away from us. What is so wrong about that?

paddyanne54 thanks for your post. I've decided to ignore all the rants and applaud the posts which recognise the difficulties trans people face and support them.
One positive supportive trans thread on GN would be lovely

No one's ranting against transpeople. We are saying the whole issue has become extremely messy because of those men who simply decide that they now identify as women and are therefore entitled to access women only spaces - ignoring very public statements by women that this makes them feel unsafe and disrespected.
This is pondered to by many businesses and institutions and has resulted in a backlash against trans people.
So women and transpeople are suffering because of the selfish and thoughtless behaviour of a few and the 'WOKE' aspirations of those who enable it.

The minority of trans activists have created an absolute minefield haven't they I'm afraid they have Pammiel, and in the process making life for your GD and so many others, far harder than it should be, or was before this started pensionpat.

My granddaughter won’t use the female toilet, not wanting to use other womens safe space. She is aware that she could be at risk if she uses the mens toilets. So she uses the disabled toilet. If there is one.
