Whenever I make a mistake with my puppy, I think I bet Iam64 would know what to do here.
Terribull you made me smile
Will Replacing School Uniforms With Tracksuits......
Welsh Senedd Election - PR in action. This will be interesting!

Every time I look at my phone during the night and āsecond guessā what time it might be I think of Maw as years ago she did a thread on the topic. Whenever I eat a crumpet I think of EllanVannin! And at this time of year I always think of grandMattie who explained why my Christmas candle bridge could stay up until early February and it pleased me because I love itās comforting soft light and my mum bought it for me.
Do any of you associate actions or things with any of our posters? (Or is it just me? š¤£)

I remember the toilet brush thread and said that I find a washing up brush good for cleaning under the rimā¦.keeping it well away from the kitchen!!
Merlotgran, I was thinking about Anniebach, havenāt seen her posting recently and hope sheās ok

In case thatās not clear FannyCornforth if this thread is used as an excuse to have a pop at posters either still on here or those who have left itās a poor do.
Oreo - Iām sure urmston knew I was smiling as I posted. We are northern women/girls on opposite sides of any political fence. Weāve been known to disagree but also not to take ourselves too seriously. Itās possible to disagree strongly about some issues without āhaving a pop on a light hearted threadā
Gransnet used to ge a bit more fun, whereās lemon grove when you need her
Is Anniebach alright? I donāt think Iāve seen her posting for a while.
Yes, when I clean the toilet I think of Callistemon. She asked me soon after I had joined GN to check if under the rim was stained. It was a thread about toilet brushes (sorry I know it's teatine). I sometimes wonder was she serious. But I didn't at the time, and I checked.
paddyann I usually scroll past your threads for obvious reasons. This time though... That bridge has been disastrous. It's had to be closed umpteen times due to dangerous lumps of ice potentially falling on cars.
As to your other comments I can only assume you live in some sort of SNP bubble totally oblivious to the rest of Scotland.
Sorry OP. Side tracked by unpleasant post.
I was just thinking about Phoenix and her annual cursing of the gammon.

For goodness sake. I'm thread monitor now.
Stop it.
Lots of things remind me our phoenix. Some silly like the gammon and the curse and some very, very sad.
Something reminded me of Greatnan the other day. Sadly, I didn't really get to know her but she scared me in the very early days.
I miss jings and our Friday girl.
kittylester I hope someone will find the gammon thread before Christmas.
Please š
We've decided on gammon for Christmas Eve dinner and I need the recipe.
Most of these people left before I joined some of them sound characters I wish I had read their posts.
To me, Fanny tries to sort us all out but in a light-hearted way she's helpful.
Georges Grannie reminds me of one of the happiest periods of my life and I know I can joke with her.
Sago a touch of luxury that I used to enjoy myself.
Not forgetting GSM the voice of the law.

Just a bit tired of posters on light hearted threads going over to the dark side, I mean just why?

When I cross the Queensferry Crossing Bridge I think of Aveline...though she wasn't Aveline then. She argued the toss about the bridge being a disaster, that it wasn't opened or that the approach roads were dreadful or somesuch nonsense and I had to post the evidence of the late Queen opening it weeks before.
Seems anti SNP is a real thing for some when they want to ignore what is the longest 3 span bridge in the world and attracts visitors every day.Sorry Aveline ,SNP are still winning votes and will keep on doing it for a while yet.
Is this ribbing too FannyCornforth ?
I think not.
But thank you for being the thread monitor

When I see the first daffodil,
I know like me, Annie loves daffodil and the end of winter.
Grandad number something or other aka as "The Misandry Officer" Specialist subjects HGVs, keeping gutters free of leaves and misandry as displayed on GN.

Ever stop to think this is a lighthearted thread not a mean girl one?
Iam64 is as far from a āmean girlā as you can get. Iām sure she was just ribbing Urms.
I know that itās sometimes difficult to believe on here, but it is possible to have opposing views and still get on.
Re the op, Iāve got loads that Iām sure will come to me, but to start with:
Rufus - whenever The Oldie magazine comes through my letterbox (he recommended it to me. Itās brilliant, and where he got most of his better jokes from)
Lucca - whenever I see a zip up fleece featuring a wolf howling at the moon (I know that they have a special place in her heart)
Riverwalk - my fantastic bath machine that she recommended (and The Durrellsš“)
When I read the name EllanVannin I think āwhere is she?ā

Hearing, Soz, instead of sorry, reminds me of jingl and any mention of gammon at Christmas makes me think of phoenix.
Yes, I thought of phoenix when we discussed the Christmas gammon yesterday.
But then, I often think of her.
Jings for Soz and various reasons
Witzend if anyone mentions the word Nativity
Lemongrove when we need some fun, frivolity and the Admiral
Rufus and dodgy jokes, with his daily updates from Down Under
Zoejory
Every time I see a knitted bear or snowman āļø I think of Witzend and wish I could knit
Yup, me too, her creations are marvellous.

Definitely phoenix and the gammon this time of year.
Whenever āA Place in the Sunā is on I think of Urms in her Malaga home and wish we had done the same thing years ago.
However Iām not jealous. Much.
Definitely Phoenix when cooking a gammon.
Definitely EV for crumpets; red wine and slightly dodgy jokes Rufus.
