Can't go wrong with jewellery, both my adult daughters love jewellery gifts ar Christmas, if you have an Essentials shop near you, they have some beautiful stuff in there

I would give cash. This offers a much better choice for her. I'd give it with a nice note, advising her to: "spend it on yourself."
Someone once said to me "Money never goes out of fashion". I believe that to be true, even in our current "cashless" society. (I'm giving my own DiL cash this Christmas, along with a wee gift.)

I have just bought my daughter Neals Yard foaming bath set (she prefers bubbles to a bath bomb). Think is was £24. I also bought her a cuddly long (about 3 feet) hot water bottle as I love mine.

What does she like?

Is she more practical or prefers decorative elements?

Sorry - just seen candles are not an option - Lovely handcream maybe

Does she like candles - there are some nice Yankee candles sets or large individual candles about.

A good pair of gloves? M&S usually do nice leather ones in different colours.

Bamboo socks, if she wears such things - are popular in our family - lovely and soft. Seasalt does nice Christmas gift packs of socks.

Please help me decide what to give my daughter in law as a small add on to a store voucher so she has 'something to open' at Christmas? About £25 ...what does anyone think. She is studying and has a 13month old, so candles and diffusers are not on her agenda now!! Thank you

Our daughters love scarves, interesting pattern socks, mules. TK Maxx

We always give our adult children money for birthdays and Christmas, but I like to give something to open as well and spend about £25 like you. This year I bought a lovely set of bath bombs in a box got my daughter in law. It’s made by Satin Naturel, and is organic. It looks gorgeous. I got it from Amazon.
