Getting into a profession despite lack of parental encouragement

Going to uni as a mature student when my qualifications became devalued

Completing my Ph.D

Starting my own business - something I had always wanted to do

Buying my own home

First grandchild was a girl.

Meeting my husband
Our wedding day, truly the happiest day of my life.
Moving back to Lincolnshire
Planning and project managing a major home extension (first time I've ever tackled anything like this and it has boosted my self confidence no end)
Finding a new and completely unexpected love this late in life. I am so lucky.

1. The births of my children, of they were seperate they would be 1 to 5 lol

2. Moving to the countryside

3. Becoming free from abusive family

4. Going back into education in my 40s

5. Getting a job as a TA which is exhausting and rewarding in equal measure

4. Being a mad Beatles fan - seeing them live a few times and sitting behind them on stage of which I have a photo.

1)Passing my law degree 2 months after birth of DD1
2)Birth of my 3 lovely daughters
3) Eldest DD graduation and middle and
Youngest DD’s getting into university after a difficult few years for them both
4) buying our lovely little cottage in the Sussex countryside (still my favourite home of all the many I have lived in)
5 ) my first trip to Venice

1. The birth of my first child -born three years after a specialist told us we would be highly unlikely to be able to have children. (just to say 2nd was born a year later, third mtwo years after that and then twins two and half years further on = five in just over five years!!

2, Graduations of each of those children

3. Birth of my eldest g.daughter - (her mum had had an eptopic pregnancy couple of years earlier). She was also first child in family born after tragic death of my youngest (adopted) son, and used the female version of his name.

4. Divorce (after twenty years of seperation), breaking the final link with ex husband.

5. Move to the flat I now live in - able to have this completely in my own name.

My 5 favourite highlights are:

1. Getting married. One month after my 18th birthday, not pregnant and still going after 42 years.
2. My daughter being born
3. My son being born. My pigeon pair!
4. My first pony. Wished for one my whole life until 21 years old.
5. My grand daughter.
