No idea don’t think I made any but can’t remember if I did 😂

The problem with January is that there might be leftover chocolates, wine, biscuits etc that need tidying up.

I think NY resolutions should start in February.

Probably not
If only I could remember what they were hmm

I wrote at the beginning of my new five year diary in January to cut back on wine, lose some weight and less phone screen time.
I’ve not kept a single one 🤦 I’m useless. I try again this coming January. You never know….

Yes, I vowed not to regain the weight I’d lost last year and I haven’t, I’m nearly a stone lighter than this time last year 😊

I cheat. For the last 20-30 years my resolution has been to always have fresh flowers in the hall. I have kept my resolution quite well. winkgrin

Mine was to listen more to my "gut" feeling when taking on potentially challenging new customers for my business. My experience is that if a buyer is rude and disrespectful before they have even bought anything (eg in asking questions, demanding discounts) then they will turn into the buyer from hell once they get the goods. Ive cancelled a few transactions and blocked the potential customers from my stores on that basis.

Another was to avoid people who suck up my time and offer nothing in return. This is where the ring doorbell is my friend. I just dont open the door to them.

No still got stones to lose and Christmas is coming. The ten minutes a day walk has gone and the back exercises.

Yes, until the heatwave, and then a dose of Covid. My walking routine went out of the window and I didn't get back to it. Well, that's my excuse anyway! blush

What are 'resolutions'?

25Avalon Tue 29-Nov-22 10:05:13

Yes I did! My resolution was to write something every day, before I went to bed, even if only one word, on family history.

I can't remember but I did stop playing Spider Solitaire on this for Lent and have not played since!

Kate1949 Tue 29-Nov-22 09:57:37

I can't remember but it was probably to lose weight and cut back on alcohol. So no I didn't keep them.

henetha Tue 29-Nov-22 09:50:07

I've completely forgotten what they were.

Kalu Tue 29-Nov-22 09:49:40

I don’t have enough staying power so don’t make any resolutions plus, I would probably forget what they were.

NanKate Tue 29-Nov-22 09:44:18

Can’t remember 🤔

Every year I make resolutions and usually stick to them.
This year I vowed to cut back on alcohol, to listen more and talk less and to spend less money on clothes.
I think I have done pretty well this year.
Did you make resolutions and did you stick to them?
