Good morning from west midlands. Its very dark, cold and dry so far. I'm up early as I'm looking after grandchildren whilst parents are out. We will be making mince pies to freeze for Christmas, maybe eating 1 or 2. Welcome peli.

Long-time lurker here, who'd like to join in yr friendly group, please : )
Slightly foggy here, but mild - my plan for the day is to attempt to make some Christmas food to stash in the freezer. Or at least make summat for dinner, lol

Good morning, it’s cold and dry here in a village in Wiltshire.
A quiet day for us here, venison casserole for dinner (first time eating venison!)
I am culling my wardrobe (again!) as I only wear about a quarter of what I have and it’s daft having so much.
I do need a cotton shirt to wear under wool jumpers but I definitely don’t need smarter skirts and jackets anymore.
So, wardrobe sort out today and a trip to the charity shop tomorrow!
Hope today goes well for you all x

Good morning from a cold Torbay. I know what you mean about the cold, Mick. It’s not suitable for us to exercise on days like this, unfortunately.

Safe journey to brook2704, coming home today via Luton from her lovely holiday in Spain. My first teaching post was in Luton, many moons ago!!

My kind friend and one time neighbour brought me this Advent candle as a get well present which was very thoughtful. I can hardly believe it's already the second Sunday in Advent!

Enjoy a blessed Sunday and keep warm! 🦩🥰✝️💐🦩

Good morning from an sky full of heavy cloud. It’s very chilly for this corner of the country, hitting both a max and a min of 4C
Church first thing. DL is going out to lunch, so I have accepted an invitation to dinner from my dog walking friend. First time out since she came, leaving DL alone for a meal.
Changed the beds yesterday as DL is expecting guests today, tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday…. I’ll do some vacuuming while she’s out, but she’ll then leave wheel marks on my clean carpets. Can’t win, can I?
Hope today brings happiness to all. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark as usual but cold and dry out here in brackley with cold easterly wind adding to the chill.
Today a quiet day in watching TV etc , but trying to avoid football matches .
I have put on a little seasonal weight , but have to try and loose some as to hospital guidelines, a few years ago I brought a exercise bike but its pedals only but i can apply pressure to make it harder it gives a display of rpm as well so aim for 10 minutes and increase to keep fit ,as I have suffered outside with the cold chill .
Take Care,
Mick
