Hello everyone. I’m very full from our meal, ate far too much but it was too good to leave. Mr C is managing clearing the kitchen, good man that he is,
A very quiet weekend, miserable wet and windy weather. I’ve enjoyed some sorting, reading and generally doing little. There will be another charity shop visit tomorrow.
My hospital trip worries are sorted. One of ours is on leave that week and has offered to be chauffeur. We would have an overnight with them and not need to leave so early. He knows the area well as our lovely daughter in law has congenital heart issues and is a regular visitor. We would have an explanation of the best ways to find parking and also show me the easiest access. A great weight has lifted knowing that would be possible. We’ll confirm tomorrow as we need to check timings with the hospital to make sure he can collect us afterwards. .
What a shame for your step father urms, I’ll be thinking of him and hope tomorrows appointment brings a solution.
Welcome oreo, this is a friendly place with unstinting kindness.
Such a happy photo soop, I’m sorry you have sadness to mange.
My challenge is to think of a birthday gift for Mr C who will be 80 next month. We’ve arranged a weekend away with friends and a family tea. I’d like him to have something tangible, he is adamant he needs nothing. I’ve time to ponder, much too comfy now to think about anything challenging.
Take care everyone. TOYA. .
