All good pals and jolly good company.
A warm welcome to you all. Please make yourselves comfortable.

I don’t think we’ve seen Soop today. I hope all is ok.
I hope all of you who are struggling with energy levels get a boost soon. I could lend you DGS who was brimming over with energy at the pantomime this afternoon. It was a really entertaining show, with the star being the dame Little Joan. We were near the front and got soaked with water pistols several times. 🤣
Sleep tight everyone
‘Evening All’
Some very worried folk in the kitchen right now. I really do feel for you all, especially you SueDonim that news must have hit you all hard.
But heartening news about your blood tests kitty that will have given you a much needed mental boost. Now you just need a physical one.
Hope you feel better soon Grandmabatty you are usually so active. Covid will have knocked you for six but you’re doing the right thing by pacing yourself. Sensible lady.
Yia one way and another you’ll be glad to see the back of this year. x
So much sad and difficult news today. 🌺🎄🌺 Sometimes it’s too hard to know what to say. I mentioned my aunt earlier who recently moved into a Care Home. She is 21 years older than me and when I was born had just qualified as an SRN. She insisted on carrying me home from the maternity hospital with mum and dad. Over the last few years whenever I saw her she would remind me of that! I’m afraid I get a lump in my throat when I think of it.
I made a very small batch of rum butter today just for me. No one else likes it. I am currently sitting with Milo next to me on the sofa. He very sweetly has his paw resting on my leg
I hope we can all have a good evening. OH is out so I might watch Call My Agent (the French version) on Netflix.
A lot of sad news and worries for folk on here today. Love and prayers from me for you all.
Grannmarie I have very little energy at the moment which is frustrating. Kittylester good news for you. Yiayia fingers crossed that the antibiotics work 🤞
I made it to Tesco this morning and picked up everything non food related that I needed to. I've just spent some time reading the Radio Times from cover to cover and I'll shortly get into the kitchen for a quick tidy. I'm in the bad books as my sil has covid and probably picked it up from me last Tuesday. He will never let me forget it! Fortunately his line is faint so he's hoping it'll disappear over the next couple of days. I managed to contact my plumber and he's going to call in tonight to have a look at my shower. I really should be wrapping presents but I think I'll do that tomorrow. A ready made Thai chicken curry for dinner, courtesy of Tesco. Enjoy the rest of your day kitcheners
Wonder where it goes granmarie? I could so with some of mine at least.
Hope you find yours before long.
Encouraging news for you kitty, one step at a time.
Sorry to hear of others with worries, for themselves & their families.
Take care, all of you.
That's very reassuring news, Kitty, glad to hear it.
I hope your energy returns soon, mine has been missing since Covid!
Just popped in for a catchup and am so sorry to read all the sad news. I'm so sorry for everyone with cares and worries.
I had good news yesterday. All my blood tests came back as being within normal levels so all that remains is for me to regain my energy.
SueD so very sorry to hear that news about your DS, hoping the treatment goes well with the best possible outcome 💐
Also for you Yia take care 💐
Sorry to hear your news SueDHope all goes well with the treatment.
This year just keeps on giving. My eldest DS (the amputee) has another infection in his good leg,a big worry!!he is on strong antibiotics so fingers crossed.I also have antibiotics for sinus infection so hopefully we will both be O.K for Christmas. He will need to have further treatment but at least should be out of pain.
Take care all have a nice day the sun is shining and it’s mild here.
Blossoming, I hope you feel a bit better soon, take care. 💕🙏
SueD, I'm so sorry to read your update on your DS. Hoping and praying for successful treatment, thinking of you and your family. 💕🙏
Life really isn’t fair SueD and it’s not the news you hoped for, but gruelling as chemo can be it does mean he has options. I hope it goes well and is successful.
Also sending love to Baggs and Hellogirl
I’m struggling at the moment and cannot use my iPad for long. The good news is it’s much milder and the sun is shining.
Sued,
Oh Sue, I missed your update. That’s really sh1tty isn’t it?
Hopefully the chemo will successfully mop up any remaining cancer cells and he’ll be clear, everything crossed for you all x
Suedonim so sorry. Do hope all goes well with the chemo for your son.
Maw little stroke for poor Rosie.
Really sorry to read your sad news sue. I do hope the chemo is successful. 💐
Suedonim 💐
What a shock SueD, I’m sure you’re reeling, thoughts with you and your family in the weeks ahead x
Dear Sue. I’ve just read your news. Life sometimes really isn’t fair is it? I suppose we just have to put our faith in the medical profession.🌹🌹🌹
I can’t sleep either but not for any particular reason 🙄
It’s going to be very quiet here for Christmas, I honestly don’t mind, I lack any enthusiasm to be honest. I think it’s all the commercialisation and that the lead up seems to start earlier and earlier every year. And not being religious is probably another factor.
It’ll be lovely if DD and/or DS and family come at some point but not heard from either yet if that’s happening.
I hope all the worried and unwell ones here get some peace and happiness very soon x 🤗
Overtired and can’t sleep.
My D and GD arrived today after a nearly 7 hour journey involving a long stretch on the M25.
They are here until Thursday, I will do my best to survive !!
We are shopping tomorrow, a rare “ treat” for me, again, I hope I survive.
Suedonim not the news you all want to hear.
Have faith the chemo will mop all up and my prayers will be with you all.
Try to make the most of Christmas, it will be very hard.
It will be 22 years on Friday that I came home from hospital after an operation for BC.
I had to wait until Jan the 5th to be told there was no spread.
I only had to have 5 weeks of radiotherapy but no chemo.
I remember every detail of that Christmas as I am sure you will.
Kindest , most loving wishes to you all.
Love the GSOD Maw and so glad you had a good time with the family. We are taking our 9 & 6 yo DGC to the pantomime tomorrow and we get to keep them overnight. They might enjoy helping with the remaining decorations and there is a gingerbread house to construct and decorate.
We went to a music concert tonight. DH says I owe him for two hours he will never get back 🤣.
💐 SueD and so much love.
