Good morning all from the Scottish Borders.
1°C here so I hope there's a thaw. Wellies on for paddling through the slush?
I will be a kitchen skivvie today. I volunteer in 2 community cafes now as so many are either sick or on holiday. My barista skills are improving!

I hope you enjoyed your trip Mick
You sound far more relaxed already gMattie

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning from a freezing cold and dark Oxfordshire.

I wish I could say that I have been out and about enjoying the fresh air and socialising, but I wasn’t.

Enjoy your day everyone and let’s hope some sunshine warms and cheers us up.

Good morning from a (slightly less) cold Torbay than of late.

Welcome back, Mick! It sounds like you made the best of your break despite the severe weather. I’ve read your post on the other thread, grandMattie and it sounds like you had a productive day with the help from your friends.

I hope Grandmabatty isn’t suffering too much with Covid and that Sar53’s DGD makes a good recovery. It must be horrid to have the constant reminder of the loss of your neighbours, Susan56. Too many tragic events have occurred this month.

Yesterday, I went out in the evening for the first time since my surgery, nearly seven weeks ago! DH is still in France so a kind friend from the Theatre Company took me to our Christmas gathering where we enjoyed mulled wine, mince pies and some seasonal entertainment. Luckily, she isn’t a night owl, so we were home by 9.00 p.m., having enjoyed catching up with several folk.

I hope the social events go to plan and those with worries find relief. Happy weekend! 🦩🎅🏼⛄️🎄🦩

Good morning.
I’m sorry, everyone. I started a new thread. Add to this one, not the other..

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but clear and dry here in brackley this morning.
The T & T at Scarborough gave restrictions as to movement with minus zero temperatures, but we did get in York early in the week , the meal arrangement schedule on the T & T Xmas day and Boxing day gave us breakie, lunch and dinner each day .
More later ,
Take Care,
Mick
