I'd say no - they can use phones as a hotspot or get a WiFi dongle from most phone shops.

Won't a lot of us not be with ALL the family or none of them, so Zooms and Video WhatSapps just make the day .....

with new NDN's...could be that simple, but I'm guessing its not just children's devices, but simply, Smart TV's.

I understand why they might want Internet. My SiL uses it to talk to his Australian family on Christmas day!

Just tell them you only have a basic internet access it's not unlimited WiFi and your on the cheaper deal because you only use it when needed and when you've asked BT for advise they've advised you'd not be able to use much more than what you are using as your on a particular deal. Tell her you only get 500mb a month .

Or be a grown up and politely decline with a firm "no dear" how about that??

Errrrr.......I have read through this thread and at no point have I seen anyone ask why these children cannot manage without WiFi over the Christmas period.
Might be a good opportunity to experience an "old fashioned" family Christmas without staring at a screen all day long. Just saying..........

I'm with you on this Parlour! Couple of days? Children? Nope! Apart from anything I'm bit nonplussed as to why they're asking? Surely they could play simple games on their devices without going onto WiFi ? They're probably talking about online rubbish anyway! All of us on here are using the Internet one way or another and I also hate it when it goes down for any reason. Children are no different- having access to the online world is their normal, and part of their traditions.
