They do do good and there appears to be plenty of support for them. There have always been those against and there always will be.

Yes there has and some turn their anti RF into a form of vs 🤣🤣

Ilovecheese

As well as paying for Prince Andrew's security, has the King said anything about chipping in for his own coronation?

Not that I have seen

So many are completely over the royal family now

It's a shame really, they could do so much good

Smileless2012 Mon 26-Dec-22 19:09:10

No idea Ilovecheese maybe that could be another threadhmm.

So VS are you going to answer my question?

Ilovecheese Mon 26-Dec-22 18:25:38

Smileless2012 Mon 26-Dec-22 18:20:50

Not at all VS I asked you a question based on what you actually posted, I've quoted your exact words so rather than making accusations that your words are being twisted, why not answer the question?

Mollygo Mon 26-Dec-22 18:18:17

Hi VS I thought we were playing VS is twisting what others say.
Better go for your bath. 🤣🤣

VioletSky Mon 26-Dec-22 17:40:09

Hi Summerlove

Apparently we are playing "Let's twist what VioletSky said"

Fun huh

Iam64 Mon 26-Dec-22 17:36:36

I’ve worked with victims, survivors and to a lesser extent perpetrators. I try to avoid responding to posters who seem to be goading others. I’m being direct and responding here though.
VioletSky, to heap blame on ‘the women in their families’ is really going too far. The majority of sexual abuse in families is perpetrated by men, be they stepfathers, birth fathers, uncles, brothers or family friends.
if we are going to change this, women have to change.
Blame the women, expect them to change. Leave the men alone - surely that isn’t what you mean

lemsip Mon 26-Dec-22 17:31:11

Just woken up? Summerlove

Summerlove Mon 26-Dec-22 17:27:47

VioletSky

Why are you saying this to me? Sorry, I just don't understand what you are getting at?

Just another put down

Emotional women are so irrational you know

*Give it a rest on Christmas day*

Why?

Are trafficked children given a rest?

Galaxy Mon 26-Dec-22 17:08:09

Someone would have to report it, they dont monitor threads.

BaBaBoom Mon 26-Dec-22 17:06:31

I'm surprised that GNHQ have allowed the statement referring to PA saying the guy is a sex offender to stand tbh. As he has never been charged or convicted of any crimes whatsoever, I'd have thought that to be a libellous statement?

welbeck Mon 26-Dec-22 17:02:36

VS, why are you conflating different issues.
and then almost accusing the posters here of behaving the way you describe above, in failing to support abused women/girls.
are you unable to think clearly, or are you intending to be insulting.

Smileless2012 Mon 26-Dec-22 16:51:23

"women seeing other women as damaged goods, broken, worthless for anything other than what they can get out of them" which posts are you referring too when you say "reading some of the responses on this thread, it's not that surprising"?

I wasn't aware that VG had been has been demeaned by her own family when she sought support for abuse; that's awful.

Galaxy Mon 26-Dec-22 16:49:21

Men commit 99% of child sex abuse, do it's some jump to say women have to change.

Aveline Mon 26-Dec-22 16:44:23

You don't get to decide that a thread is ended. By all means end your contributions to it though.
M0nica is right.

VioletSky Mon 26-Dec-22 16:40:39

www.unodc.org/unodc/en/human-trafficking/global-report-on-trafficking-in-persons.html

"Suprisingly women trafficking women is the norm"

People trafficking is modern day slavery. And while men are the customers it's often women bringing other vulnerable women into this scenario.

Women seeing other women as damaged goods, broken, worthless for anything other than what they can get out of them.

Reading some of the responses on this thread, it's not that surprising

I've come across many victims of sexual abuse who have been demeaned by their own families when they have sought support for abuse. Again, primarily the women in theor families who then saw them as broken, worthless and damaged goods. Women who told them not to tell anyone not to seek support, keep quiet, you'll never get a husband, everyone will see you as tainted.... it goes on and on

If we are going to change this, it's women who need to change

End thread.

M0nica Mon 26-Dec-22 16:39:40

Oh for heavens sake VC cut out the high moral tone and virtue signalling. You are carefully manipulating everything you write to sound as if you are being reasonable, but is actually aimed at goading people to reply.

I consider the behaviour you are indulging in despicable in anyone.

Smileless2012 Mon 26-Dec-22 16:34:27

No, I don't have a problem with it either Galaxy it's Charles' decision.

VioletSky Mon 26-Dec-22 16:31:36

Oh well, a little meandering never hurt anyone

People can always go something else

I don't see anything new or interesting

VioletSky Mon 26-Dec-22 16:30:09

Galaxy

It would be safer for all our children if we didnt cheer on or excuse the buying of consent, men who do that have higher rates of domestic violence, and if you dig into the backgrounds of those who commit the most serious crimes, you often find a background of paying for sex.

This is also on topic

Galaxy Mon 26-Dec-22 16:30:09

Numerous people have discussed the morality or not of women selling sex in this thread so yes the thread has meandered.
I actually have no problem with Charles paying for anyones security including Andrew and Harry. If you have a royal family then you have to protect the individuals within it. Its another reason why I would rather not have a royal family.

VioletSky Mon 26-Dec-22 16:28:38

Lol Gagajo started this thread and I have stayed exactly on topic lol
