Another question with simple word answers please

I think my iPad must have done an update yesterday, because, now when I receive emails, the picture content is not loaded, as it always used to be.
How can I overcome this please, and get it back to 'normal'?

Emails do come with a small message at the top which says "Load content". This never used to happen.
Any ideas welcome. Many thanks.

That has not happened to me so I can’t help sorry, but thought if I reply it will keep your thread “trending” until someone else comes along to help you with this problem.

It's a privacy thing Auntyflo. I get the same message & just tap on the message & the contents come up.
If you go to Settings tap on Mail, then Privacy Protection, this takes you to Protect Mail Activity which you can switch off. I think that takes it back to what you're used to. There's also a whole lot stuff which explains what it's all about. I have left mine switched on. (I'm not claiming I understand it all it's just what I found when I started investigating Settings.)

Thanks Gala. I did Google why and got the answer pretty much as you have said. So as you, I have left mine switched on.

I just wonder why these things happen, seemingly "out of the blue". But apparently after an update.
