Susan54 thinking of you and your poorly little one.

Ashcombe Sat 24-Dec-22 10:12:05

Susan56: praying for healing for your grandson. I'm sharing this prayer which I found helpful when I couldn't find the words.

Almighty and most merciful God I bring before You this little child who is suffering such pain and discomfort - and I ask that in Your grace and mercy You would raise them back up into full health and strength and work a speedy recovery. The Lord Jesus took little children in His arms of love and blessed them and I pray that in a very special way You would put Your arms of love and blessing around this little one and minister to each need and every pain.

Little ones do not understand why they are feeling so poorly and I just ask that You would have compassion for this little child and take away any fear and pain - and multiply Your grace so that they come to a lasting recovery..

Thank You, Lord; in Jesus' name we pray,

Amen

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest Lancashire coast.
DD here and shopped for Xmas food yesterday, she’s a darling
and I got on with wrapping presents etc.
Later we had a meal in town before the panto. My beef stroganoff was rather tough, I’m not having success with meals out these days. We left the panto at the interval as both tired and it was only so so.
Went to bed before 12, unusual for me, but my hernia went into spasm so walked about for a while, then had terrible cramp in my hands and feet, as one gave up, another took over😨
Final touches today and I’m looking forward to tomorrow as more organised.
Will read through properly later but thoughts to Susan56 and welcome Whitewavemark2

Good morning all. I haven’t read all your posts yet but I’ll catch up later.

Yesterday we had a very wet journey back from Suffolk and a diversion too. Never mind we are back safe and sound.

Today we have eldest gd (20) and youngest gd (7) here to assemble the gingerbread house. It’s a tricky operation so I’ll leave them to it. Later we will go with Dd to the crib service at our old (new) church. Eldest gd was christened there so it will be nice for her.

Lots of preps going on so I’ll love you and leave you.
Happy Christmas Eve to you all and I look forward to all your doings in the coming year.

Love and best wishes to you all especially poorly and worried. We are all here to comfort and support. I know I get that from here. ❤️
