We like to make a special effort to decorate our Christmas table. Anyone else care to share their photos ?

Gosh, you’re organised, ours won’t be done until after grandchildren have had breakfast tomorrow.
They look stunning.

Ours is partially set. Currently it is a repository for various cakes and a pavlova as I have no space left in my kitchen.

I'm having breakfast on it at the moment. I have got out a white and gold tablecloth and have some Christmassy serviettes,, but once all the dishes are out, there is absolutely no room for any ornaments.

Every year I start by removing the Advent wreath and putting it in the lounge. When I turn my back to get stuff to start laying the table, DH has put the advent wreath back on the dining table. I'm waiting to see if he does it again this year.

They look really special.
I get out the Christmas table cloth but that's as far as it goes usually - need a bigger table!

They look beautiful. I love doing the tale up for special occasions but mine still has my sewing machine and piles of material on at the moment 😄 Guess what I'll be doing for the next hour 😄

Your table looks beautiful. Years ago I used to make an effort when the children were young and in-laws came for lunch. Only the two of us now so it's a white tablecloth with a bottle of wine and 'posh' glasses (those at back of cupboard only brought out on special occasions).

Your tables all look lovely. I remember how my table used to look like that in past years. However, the dining room table has been commandeered to be the staging post for the presents as with a naughty, but lovely, cockapoo in the house who loves nothing better than to shred paper and chew cardboard, we could not leave them around the tree. As a result, we are having Christmas dinner in the breakfast room on a much smaller table, and I cannot be enthused about the decoration. I will drag out a festive tablecloth and put some crackers out and that will be it!
